I must say this is a beautiful Mass and I really like the Bishop - very charismatic. I must say there are a few absolute monarchs (5) including the Pope who acts as the Absolute Monarch of the Vatican City State. For the Church is indeed monarchial not Episcopal in design, just as the Church Triumphant (heaven) the Church Militant is hierarchical and not Episcopal as Vatican II (not a true council of the Church) erroneously taught but Monarchial as the First Vatican Council taught.

Yes, but when condition allowing, it is preferable that the Bishop vest at a Chapel within the Church. If there are no Chapel within the Church, it can be at the side Altar or even on the main Altar where the Mass will be celebrated. The rule for vesting at Pontifical Mass is at the Altar, but it doesn't have to be the main Altar. Any Altar can be the place for vesting, but definitely not in Sacristy.
drinaldi2000 If it is from the faldstool and not the cathedra then it is on the Epistle side and it is to face West as he is addressing and instructing the congregation not the Lord as he does during the rest of the Liturgy.
We don't hear about those bishops who support the TLM. I know we laity like to dump on those bishops who seem to do nothing to defend the faith, yet there are bishops who support and want to spread devotion to the TLM.
