    What about post-partum hair loss? I'm nursing my 6 month old. My hair started to fall out at 4 months post-partum and hasn't stopped falling out. I eat a plant-based vegan diet.

      you're probably not getting enough nutrients. get your blood tests and see if you're deficient. this is so important during breastfeeding - ! hope you can get some answers - please take care of yourself.

      Telogen effluvium most likely. Not fun but not uncommon, can often bounce back on its own. But you may want to look into your iron levels (full iron panel including ferritin, not just serum iron, and I wouldn’t rely on the minimum ferritin amount in the standard range).

      Also, you may want to get your progesterone and estrogen levels checked to see if they got out of whack.
