Most impressive is the fact that after dealing with the husband, he didn't just do the same to the wife with the adrenaline of that happening, her being armed and resisting...
When looking at the audio captured footage; that guy actually had a beat on that cop way before he even noticed him.. he just hesitated in shooting him, or didn't want too, you can also hear him yelling at the cop
I hope, in retrospect, she blames herself. I would be in that situation, for the rest of my life. But we all know, her vision will be clouded by other people clapping her on the back. Telling her how she was in the right. She will never know the truth of how she got her husband killed. But we… we will know. And that’s all that matters.
i have a feeling she was panicking because of unconstitutional gun laws. if guns were legal for all citizens, she wouldnt have been panicking so much. But yeah she should have just taken the L because thats the world that we live in and we gotta deal with that. until we can change it, of course
In a shocking turn of events, the guy's family actually blamed HIM for getting shot and killed, NOT the cop that shot him. They acknowledged that he had mental health issues and was a criminal and that's what led to his ultimate fate. Nice to see a family actually take responsibility for once instead of immediately threatening a lawsuit for a big juicy payday.
@idontreadyourrepliesever8032 well its too soon, Ben crump hasn't show dim day wey. When they get told they can get several million dollars for saying he was just defending his wife, believe me, it's coming, probably quietly.
The media should really stop giving these criminals a platform, or at least wait until bodycam footage is released. It's ridiculous that these people are getting a platform for others to sympathize with them. Incredible job to the officer, and I hope the woman gets put behind bars for long.
Sometimes it takes a long while for departments to release the footage, and by that point nobody cares. A developing situation is much more interesting then a clearly justified shooting, private companies are in it for the money so, they exploit these situations.
Lmao that’s exactly what it means. When police are arresting you there is literally nothing you can do in that situation except seethe and call a lawyer lol people need to understand the second they decide they’re arresting you it’s over no running no fighting is going to help you lol
My thoughts exactly. He died on her behalf. His choice at the end of the day, of course. But I’ve seen people act way more stupid over people they care about and she made the situation way worse.
Lets all take a moment to appreciate the truck driver who stopped after the cop asked for help arresting the woman and he informed the officer the husband was coming back while also moving out of danger zone
The self control he exuded not to shoot the woman after quadruple tapping the husband is incredible. Being able to think so clearly while literally being nano-seconds away from being executed is mind bending.
As a matter of fact the officer could have died. She was sitting on the floor looking towards the officer with the gun still on her hand. He should not have hesitated to drop her.
he was scared, for what reason idk idk what that dude did but he did come back. Came back and made a stupid decision for a stupid woman but hey. It is what it is.
@@W47689 but that doesn't sound like something someone with a good heart would do? im so confused. was he a great person with a great heart or a felon that steals cars and has guns that he will shoot an officer with? sounds more like a THUG to me.
The citizen in the black truck who stopped to help (officer told him to help handcuff her) showed good situational awareness too. The dashcam shows him approaching the scene, but when the soon to be deceased husband appeared with a gun, he changed direction towards cover behind a tree and maybe verbally warned the officer. He should get some credit too. Lesson learned, if you ever stop to help an officer in trouble, be alert.
I could be wrong but I think it’s when he noticed the girl had a gun in her hand, not the husband with a gun cause he was still kind of out of vision until he came around to the left side of their car
You know I seriously doubt that officer asked a random citizen to come help him cuff a suspect with a gun in her hand. Where did you get that information or are you just guessing?
Stopping to "help" an officer is actually a felony in most jurisdictions as it's considered impersonating a peace-officer. If a police officer doesn't know how to use handcuffs, then he should find a new job. Because we've gotten to a point where cities like L.A., San Francisco, San Diego, and Oakland don't even teach police officers how to use handcuffs since they rely on security guards and loss prevention to make arrests for them. It's sad when you think about it. It's one of the reasons why we have citizen's arrest laws and shopkeeper's privilege. Police do not know how to use handcuffs and have to rely on private citizens making arrests (even wrongful ones) to meet their quota. That's why most lawsuits pertaining to false shoplifting accusations are also against police departments, and it's because police officers are taught to believe whatever a security guard or store employee tells them without investigation. That's why they can't stand the fact that people no longer respect store security or loss prevention like they did in the 2000s and 2010s.
As a dispatcher, not hearing a response when asked for the location is terrifying. I’m sooooo happy that body cam footage was released as a counter to that interview of the Land Hippos.
Why do dispatchers still ask that? I have a feeling it’s just been passed on through the years because obviously you used to NOT have a screen showing the location of all the units. But since we do now, we should get away from that. An officer chasing/fighting someone shouldn’t waste time telling you what you already know.

What is amazing is that the awareness kicks in at the perfect time. He had the female mostly subdued. If he was a bit premature he might have drawn on the Guy, releasing the female, potentially allowing her to obtain control of her hidden weapon and using it against him.
The suspect was yelling at the officer to get his attention. No the officers situational awareness is not incredible. The suspect hesitated where as the officer had no reason to do so. And so the Officer shot as he was justified to do so and was likely in real danger. But the point being. He was not SUPER AWARE he was being yelled at and noticed and looked.

The media should really stop giving these criminals a platform, or at least wait until bodycam footage is released. It's ridiculous that these people are getting a platform for others to sympathize with them. Incredible job to the officer, and I hope the woman gets put behind bars for long.
Let them lie on tape to gain a longer sentence.
When will you understand that the media is in on it and this is all intentional to gaslight the audience? :))
The media takes advantage of these type of things. It's not like they don't think it's unethical. They only care it's profitable.
I'm sure the reporter behind that anti-cop propaganda remains very proud of holding "LEO fascists responsible"!
Sometimes it takes a long while for departments to release the footage, and by that point nobody cares. A developing situation is much more interesting then a clearly justified shooting, private companies are in it for the money so, they exploit these situations.
That officer displayed the difference between training, and "being trained." He expertly did the job of two cops. Good on him!!

I don't know I feel like stopping in the first place was terrible situational awareness
You know I seriously doubt that officer asked a random citizen to come help him cuff a suspect with a gun in her hand. Where did you get that information or are you just guessing?
@@SagebrushRambles officer says it out loud if you listen

@@kozakoutdoors7305 shoot bro it's a wild world these days none of us actually retire I think. While you're on earth you're always clocked in until you leave and some people like in this video decide to leave before their time and it's quite sad
What a fine upstanding couple.
Dude, what amazing instincts and awareness. Not a whole lot of people would’ve walked out of that situation alive.
And yet crickets from the media. Doesn’t fit their narrative.
A few more people shouldn't have.
Oh, we have another boy scout honor roll student who was on his way to bible study. Driving a stolen car and pointing a gun at an officer.
He fu*ked around and found out.
Thanks for the shooty shoot breakdown, Donut. I hope all is well with you.
That cop is on point, he didnt wax the lady because he knew he could control her, still had situational awareness when dude came back, and that draw and fire speed, somebody doesnt skip range day.
@ 6:24: "Get off my wife". Might have been his "last words", but I bet she heard it before! lol
This happened right down the street from my dealership on VB Blvd and I knew something major happened after 15+ units flew passed at 100+ coming to this officers aid; little did they know John Wick was among their ranks - what a badass.
Probably not your first time. That area is rough. Hated going anywhere near there when I was towing.
I feel bad the officer had to do this. But damn glad he's able to go home to his family because of him obviously being well trained
Doing everything he could to not have to shoot somebody that day. Then the POS lady has the nerve to lie about it.
I feel for those who have hit hard times. BUT! Trash like this, that are happy to maim and kill a father just doing his job, deserve what's seen in this video. I actually feel for the officer that had to use deadly force. This pathetic duo were happy to kill and abuse him, they forced him into using his gun. And though they'd have zero care for him, he unfortunately is an actual human being, and might end up with PTSD, for having to react and hurt these scumbags.
5:25 The dumb criminal had almost an 8 sec jump on the cop. You know the cop would not be here it was someone that's trained. I think after reviewing the dashcam the cop would treat that dumb woman differently if that situation happens again.
That cops training and situational awareness was impressive.
Training? Okay, bootlicker. A broken clock is right twice a day. Most of the time they can't hit the broad side of a barn.
@@ARedMotorcycle lol what? Bootlicker that's cute.
This cop got ultra instinct and spidey senses added to his morning coffee. Well done
The level of situational awareness is incredible. That's a dangerous man. We need more like him.
that "dangerous man" is putting everything he has on the line every day for his community
@@LIONTAMER3D you're a lot of fun at parties
This whole thing started and ended in less than two minutes. Like, he was chilling at a parking lot, possibly thinking of a coffee and a donut, 2 minutes later he is snapshotting a perp while (wo)manhandling the other.
Jesus Christ I could never do that job.
@@Isnogood12 it takes a real man, a sheepdog. Upmost respect to the men.
@@croceaMors1 all he’s saying is that the officer put himself in more danger than he needed to. He did good, but he also got lucky. He the dude had a faster draw that could’ve turned out much worse
this has gotta be some of the most amazing police work I've seen, the fact he was putting his life on the line by putting his gun away (she didn't even deserve that) and that as soon as the husband pulled up on him he pulled a Midwest standoff type unholster and didn't even get shot once, crazy this guy deserves a medal
did you see the looky loo in the truck thinking he was going to play white knight (irony) to save the girl? he was right in the line of fire too. If he got shot in the crossfire by the criminal husband he would have learned his lesson not to poke his nose where it doesnt belong
and if the cop had been killed because he was distracted by him, he would have been implicated in it also and most likely went to jail for felony obstruction.
I aint gonna lie bro if the cop was me i would be dead if i did what he did. But as soon as she grabs the gun im shooting the woman
@@ScreamingEagleFTW He may have been looking to help the officer. I know if I'm driving by that's what I would do. Of course I would ask first before stepping in, just in case.
@@chucknorris5141 I think he was, the officer was yelling at him to help him restrain the woman, and he dipped as soon as he saw they were getting third partied
Man, I appreciate the length of your videos. It seems almost impossible to watch a crime video under 60 min these days
With 59 minutes of uncut boring interrogation footage
It’s still too long
blame that JCS ripoff channel that manages to be as entertaining as watching paint dry
That cop is a legit skater. He did a perfect fakie big flip in his patrol boots.😂

Just blows my mind listening to someone talk like that at the end there... People choose that lifestyle, I will never know why. Thanks for the upload DO!
"I knew he was going to do what he had to do so I wouldn't get shot" - lady, you won't get shot at all if you just comply, don't resist, don't reach for a gun, etc. lmfao. this lady is delusional and lucky to be breathing
Losers got to be losers together and that's how they live their live.

Apparently her husbands mind was blown too… 😂
Absolutely no consideration for anyone except themselves... Either one of these bleeping-bleeps would've gladly killed an innocent stranger to stay out of trouble.
He is a man of commitment, concentration, and sheer will.
The officer puts his practice in and it potentially saved his life here. Between a smooth muscle memory draw to a clean shoot while still maintaining control of the initial apprehension. Great work. I was curious how he identified the threat so fast but from the dash footage, you can clearly see the guy in the gray truck moving up to assist then quickly retreating to cover and most likely calling the target. Great awareness all around and amazing self control in not immediately sending her to the turf after the bf got slumped.
His body camera is pointed one way but his head was probably on a swivel fighting the gun woman watching out for boyfriend
Yeah, the hippo was calling out for her husband to come save her, so the cop knew he had a tango hostile inbound.
I was shocked he didn't drill her as soon as he switched back, since she still had her gun in her hand and he'd just smoked her armed partner. Hard to stop when you're on a roll!
@@davidgoodnow269 My toughts exactly, as a cop myself getting the focus of someone who is trying to get out the gun on someone else then switching focus back on her i would shoot automaticly casue last thought of her is that she is trying to get a gun to kill me and she indeed got a chacne to get a gun while i was shooting. This guy is a legend
I think the guy in the truck was gonna help the officer restrain her, but when he released her wrist to holster his weapon, she grabbed her gun out. That's what made "truck guy" retreat. The husband said get off my wife as he was pulling the gun out of the bag. I think that's when the officer noticed him.
Title should be "Idiotic armed couple vs Hero Cop". Nice one, Donut!
The situational awareness and target transitioning was top notch. This guys a badass and this also shows how scary officers jobs can be. Especially not having a partner there. Not everyone has the abilities that this man does.
Yeah, but asking a private citizen for help because he didn't know how to use handcuffs was in poor taste. If you can't handcuff someone yourself, then don't work for the police.
@@whodoesntlikesurfing He was trying to get the gun out of her reach, that's why he asked for the other guy's help. Not that he couldn't handcuff her

"my husband had a good heart" Keyword lady... "Had"
I love the way she is saying that her husband was 'going to do what he had to do' to make sure she didn't get shot as if she couldn't just stop pulling out a gun on officers to avoid getting shot.
He was true to his word... she was on the FAFO train and him getting shot probably changed the course of her not getting shot.
Lying is their #1 quality, with racism and crime tied for a very close second place.
Funny how that works, huh? I'm sure he also had to "do what he had to do" to steal that car so they could drive to the dollar general. If you're just going to ignore evil actions if there is a minor benefit, you can justify literally anything
@@Caffeine_Addict_2020 They were probably forced to this due to systemic racism, being mistreated and help down all their lives. It’s so sad. And apparently he was such a good man.
@@rockinroll817 I'm just going to assume that is 100% sarcasm, but it's very hard to tell through text
I mean, like, holy shit. What a situation to be in.
1. You've got a hysterical woman with a gun in her hand, who just hopped out of a potentially stolen vehicle; and 2. A man walks up on you, also holding and point a gun at you.
The restraint it must have taken the officer not to shoot the lady is insane.
Dont forget the bloke that drove up to the scene behind the officer and got out of there truck. God only knows what they were planning or thinking of doing.
Also the first person to have left the vehicle. If the other two were packing it only takes one more for it to be a patern.
She was using her "hysteria" as a cover and distraction to try to get to the gun and kill the officer. There's no telling how many times over how many years these two had talked about and planned for exactly this situation as they are committing crime together.
@@stevenhunley9486 I do believe that the person in the truck was called out to by the officer and requested to help him handcuff the woman. We can kind of hear audio of the officer saying something along those lines. The third person in the primary vehicle you do have a point with.
He should've, I genuinely think gender bias played a part here. If you reverse the two's actions he'd have shot the husband reaching for the gun immediately.

I hope this officer is able to process all this and doesn't have any lasting issues. We are all quick to forget this type of thing when we move on to the next video and go about our lives. It's safe to say that he's been in the shit before.
3:40 that cop gave her a full life in that moment.
Interesting fact about the body camera video in this case, the officer didn't manually activate their camera (high stress, understandable). It (along with the dashcam) ended up getting activated automatically when they removed their firearm from their holster. Cool technology, could have been a mess without any video being captured.
