We explore Ikseon-Dong Hanok Village. Cafe Hopping, Shopping, and FOOD!!
We sold everything we owned on a whim to travel the world with our husky Nala. Currently in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷
Not everything has been smooth traveling Korea as foreigners (with a big dog) but overall the experience has been amazing! The people are friendly, the streets are clean, and the FOOD IS AMAZING!
Thanks for watching and make sure to Subscribe for more Seoul Vlogs!
Glad you guys had fun in Ikseondong! It's also one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul
It’s such a fun spot. We’ll be going back for sure
Another neighborhood to put on my korea travel list!
You can knock out ikseondong and insadong on the same day they’re right next to each other. But both have enough stuff for a whole day of exploring too
Excellent Vlog! I’ll be visiting Seoul in a few months and will add Ikseon-Dong to my list of places to visit. Thanks!
Thanks! Ikseon-dong is a must but it's also near the Bukchon Hanok Village and Insa-dong so you can probably knock all that out on the same day
Recently discovered your channel and it’s been so helpful! Going to Seoul and Busan in 7 days, was in Seoul in 2019 but I’m wanting to experience places that aren’t as touristy. Your videos are brilliant!
Awesome! That’s so kind of you to say. We haven’t been to Busan yet but we want to make the trip too. We still have so much to explore in Seoul
I enjoyed watching Kim make her bag. It was perfect! I really like your videos. They keep getting better & better. Please keep them up 💜
Thanks! It was a really fun experience. We’ll keep sharing our adventures!
I agree!
Thank you for your vlog. It’s very good and fun to watch. My husband are visiting next month and love to visit this place too. ❤
Thanks! It’s definitely worth spending at least half a day there. Have fun!
Hi . Thanks for sharing . Noticed the 1st cafe yo guys showed in the video was completely empty. What was that mid afternoon?
The place is just really big and people generally like to sit in the main area instead of the private rooms. Maybe 30 ppl there when we went late afternoon
Kim did a very good job! Totally worth $25 for that tote, Kim! 💜 Do you know the name of the DIY tote store?
Don’t encourage her! 😭😭😭 haha jk it was a fun experience. Shop is called Wappen.
I’m solo traveling to Korea in a few months with my Nala (also probably considered a big dog since she’s 35lb) and am TERRIFIED.
Of all the places that you’ve stayed, which do you recommend the most? Also will you still be in Korea in April? Would be nice to have a … buddy 😥
I think Mapo-gu/hongdae is the answer for most people with big dogs. Don’t worry. 99% of people here LOVE dogs and show so much love. There will be 1% that hate dogs and they’ll let you know haha. But don’t let that small minority affect your overall experience. I just laugh them off at this point. They’re usually grumpy people that hate everything.
