I guess I've seen enough Shark Tank to not enjoy the teary eyed parts of the show. I do like how Kevin quickly brings us back with "but you are here and you have an offer".

No actually in this one she didn’t lol. People with products like this need to be educated and read the bottle when in reality people aren’t educated on the item and don’t care about it’s promise.

LOVE hearing them say that all businesses are a risk. Really. Who could have known.
That's silly. You're literally negotiating with sharks to give away a significant part of your business possibly in perpetuity . Of course you should push back. And they got a deal so all of this is moot anyway.
Why would someone pay 4 or $5 then cause to price to inflate which already its border line market price. If you made 1000 in the u.s and someone paid you 2000 for the same work you got paid 1000 for you would be happy too
5% equity ($1.10) + Royalty ($.0.25) = $1.35. $22 (Price) - $2.50 - $1.35 = $18.15 POFIT for them + $100,000 left to use after paying off their debt. Is this really a good deal for Kevin? lol
You have the right idea but the 5% equity kicks in after price less the cost of goods sold. Royalty is also included in the COGS. It should be $22-$2.50-$0.25=$19.25 Kevins equity=.05*19.25+0.25 per unit sold which equals $0.09625+$0.25=$1.2125.
