- Canada is now in the midst of heated debate over what to do with 500 Tamils who arrived on a ship on the BC coast last month. Are they refugees? Are they terrorists? Do we need a new law to sort this out, or can an Act of Parliament do the job? Why is a nation that proudly proclaims its multiculturalism struggling with this issue?
