We see three men in a bar’s toilet sharing stories from their daily encounters. Each man is surprised over the fact that a man is working as a secretary, a job that is traditionally perceived as exclusively feminine. The scene illustrates the gendered stereotypes around specific jobs. Within the Tunisian society, men generally occupy leading positions whereas women tend to carry out the role of followers. This scene describes the hypothesis that these implicit leader-follower roles determine the way in which gender stereotypical traits are assigned to women and men.
