Replace gluing with sewing so the finished product will last longer than 1-2 uses.

I made one that could accommodate smart phone plus all that. And I used metal chain for cross body/shoulder strap. True. Don't use glue gun. It's not durable. If you want to use a glue prefer a super glue. It's permanent. Otherwise, sew everything as I did. I'm still using some I made 5 years ago. Great design. Can be scaled up to be bigger and with shoulder strap that's removable.

Love the bag but think sewn is a better choice over hot glue which will just peel apart.

Unfortunately this is an open invitation to thieves who will make one tug and its gone. Better to securely stitch and stud it all securely together with a hidden inside pocket for anything valuable such as notes and cards. Never carry anything of serious value this way.

Please don't use hot glue on fabric projects like this. That will fall apart quicker than you can say DIY

No i think this is wrong i more things using hot glue they are still. With me and also don't say that diy craft tv channel always uses hot glue please she is trying her best to give diy
I think it depends on the wear and weight of stuff you put in it or anything really. The more weight is holds of course it'll fall apart quicker

Gosto muito das peças que vc faz , só não entendo porque vc usa cola quente isso deixa a peça com pouco uso.
Uma dica se vc gosta tanto de usar cola então use a cola certa pra esse tipo de material que aqui no Brasil chamamos de Sintético.
E a cola que nós utilizamos é a cola de contato que é a mesma cola do sapateiro

I had the same question. Seems like it would fall apart really fast. Is there some special kind of hot glue that you are using?

The pattern is ok but the construction using glue is a bit of a joke when theres a sewing machine right there that would give a far sturdier and more polished/professional looking finish

Enough with the glue!! You have a sewing machine. Use it. Also...please explain what you are doing and throw that horrible music on the tutorials out the window! You can improve so much on your tutorials by just doing those two things!
I cringe every time you use hot glue on anything that will carry something. But I watch your vids nonetheless
