Such a breath of fresh air to hear someone just own up to their mistake instead of blaming others.
Francis can rub me the wrong way sometimes, no dark arts, but he certainly has handled this well or at least appeared to. Hes always been a super funny dude, really enjoyed what he brought to the stool. No doubt he'll find success on his new path.

As a fan of barstool it is nice to see Francis owning some responsibility despite the fact that it just happened to be an untimely mistake. Francis has had the same bad habit of using barstool, but I always felt he gave enough back (especially being able to sing and joke at live events). I liked that Francis was part of the office, and most of what he did. I like that Theo had him on, and I wonder how far he can go in comedy without barstool
Why is losing the ability for you to look after yourself a fair punishment for an accidental but with hindsight ill-advised piece. Who here would think losing your job, literally having to go home to tell your family that your job is gone and your family is now probably under financial risk (at least), is fair for a mistake at work? Absolutely crazy.

I don't understand how you can be writing about something for a website, and your research is reading headlines??
its a comedy website, so the goal of any given article is to be funny, not necessarily well researched or well informed, sometimes ignorant takes can be humorous as long as you realize youre not reading something meant to be taken serious. in this case obviously it was a huge error, francis had a niche where he liked to toe the line in covering material that was morbid or controversial, and it ultimately burned him unfortunately.
Barstool has no credibility for research they’re purely satire like the onion and just post their bias on any current event.
