Well, here we are 10 months later... We've been on our cruise and we all loved it!
My first video isn't as nice as yours but we all had a ball. I've still got a lot of video to edit up and post which I will get to over time.
Thanks for your video, when asked what inspired us to take the cruise we mentioned your video several times :)
So lovely and clear definition. The fish-eye lens could be a bit hard on the eyes at times, but you got to show us so much that way. After a tiring few weeks, I remember why we go to work now, and really relaxed watching that, and found myself tapping away to the music. Thanks for taking the time to make up that video, it flowed very well, and getting the sound track to match the video was very clever. Explorere looks so beautiful and so is your lovely family.
kathy goodwin Kathy, thank you! It's true that the fish eye view can be a bit uneasy at times. But it also manages to capture so much in great detail. That's what's great about the GoPro camera! watched video about 50 times so far. have been on voyger of the seas in 2013, radiance 2012 and 2015, rhapsody 2014. radiance again this dec 2016, and will travel on explorer in april 2017.
have also be on princess cruise goldern princess 2016, to many old people "floating retirement village' and p&o 2015 'sorry to say absolute shit' wouldn't use p&o again if you paid me. but just love royal caribbean, great all round.

Christopher Louis Thanks, Chris! Lucky you! I've been on an Alaskan cruise once a while ago. That's my favorite cruise destination so far and I look forward to sailing there again in the future! Nothing beats sitting in a hot tub on deck while looking out at the snow capped mountains on the horizon, whales surfacing for air nearby, and eagles soaring in the sky! Have fun!

OMG I totally love this video its a family having fun. And its great information for me who is on the Explorer for the first time in seven weeks. And I don't think I would be doing any video as you have blown it out of the park. My only complaint as I have watched your video a few times as soon as your opening song comes on at work I think about my upcoming holiday..

Wow great vid of Explorer. We sailed this past December on a Christmas cruise before it was renovated. It was very dumpy. Our cabin was disgusting. We were disappointed as we sailed on its sister ship, Mariner of the Seas 3 times when it was new so it was sad to see it in that shape. .

This is the best video we have seen for Explorer of the Seas. Thank you! Great music too. We sail from Southampton on this ship on 9th August and we are now very excited after watching your video. Where did you go (especially the inflatables in the water!). Can you give us any tips in general?
Tracey Ellis Thank you so much for the awesome comment! I wish I would have seen it sooner so I could give you information if you needed. The place with the inflatables in the water was a beach excursion through royal caribbean at the spanish island of Mallorca. The other stops were Villefranche (near Nice), La Seyne Sur Mer (near Toulon), Malaga, Cadiz, and Gibraltar. :) Have fun!

Great video were on the Explorer 2/10 would you recommend the specialty restaurants?
Ian Sunderland I would! They're all great! Choppes and Giovannis is a set price and you can order anything on the menu. I think at Giovannis you get a bit more for your money because the portions are much larger. Izumi's is a la carte pricing, the rolls there are delicious. I recommend the green dragon roll! Johnny Rocket's is also worth it, if you want a taste of some good, greasy American fast food. We all loved it. Definitely don't miss out on the dining room meals, however, as they're free and the food is still very good. I would only go to the cafeteria as a last option if you missed a meal time in the dining room, can't get reservations somewhere, or just need something quick to eat. All in all, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Don't forget about room service, too! It's free except between midnight and 5am, I believe ;). Have fun and thanks for watching!
