    great interview, it answers a few questions that has always been on my mind about reggie, and also great to hear that there will be some point in the future where reggie will start recording his own shizz, hopefully not too far in the future, the simulation of a false reality may end before he gets to.

  • @eticketride
    @eticketride 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    As much as I love Reggie Watts, I don't know that a music album would really hit its mark. I mean much of the entertainment is in watching him make his music. I think maybe a DVD would be better.

    • @avedic
      @avedic 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man...he's got *_TONS_* of legit music recordings. He was in many many bands earlier in his life. The best is a band called "Maktub." He's a truly creative human being. But yeah...I agree with you, Reggie needs to be heard _and seen_.

    • @CHIEF-CHUY
      @CHIEF-CHUY 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Clearly you are very simple minded. Music created by a genius will always sound amazing

    • @crnkmnky
      @crnkmnky 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CHIEF-CHUY Do you feel better, throwing insult at a seven year old comment, for the sin of having a different opinion?
      _Of course_ an MP3 file of Reggie will sound amazing. Historically, music _only_ existed as live (in-person) performances of some kind. I see nothing “simple-minded” about acknowledging the genius of a full Reggie Watts experience.

      Reggie Watts is one of my all time favorite humans, but your statement is a bit of a stretch.
      There are millions of artists on the planet.

    • @bartenationalbart-email-na3284
      @bartenationalbart-email-na3284 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a right to my opinion troll

    • @KONAROCK1
      @KONAROCK1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Bart Laube yeah, me too, Bart. You shared yours. I shared mine.
      By the way.. You should look up the definition of troll. I'm not sure you understand how trolling works... because me very respectfully debating your opinion with one of my own is just about the furthest thing from trolling. Lol

    • @thames21
      @thames21 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      KONAROCK1 I know this was 4 months ago, but I like to stick my nose in other people's business. And the thing is, if someone in this conversation is a troll, it's Bart Laube. His statement is simply false, and not (as he's saying) an opinion. Sure creativity may be partially subjective, it's not entirely so. On top of that it's simply outrageous to state there is only one creative person in the whole world. Bart Laube, you troll; yes you have the right to your opinion, but false statements aren't opinions, they're false statements. Just look at it this way, Reggie watts would be offended, if not on behalf of all the artists he admires, if you'd say that to him directly. This was my presentation, are there any questions?

    grat part is just fucking arround while the moderator would glance at him interested and serious :) e.g. pointing and re-pointing into a direction while talking about a gadged of the past as if it would be exhibited there somewhere or the sentence "beeing able to make sounds with your voice, which is sth I have always done.." oh really? =)

    • @avedic
      @avedic 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Patrick Bateman Yeah....I guess. But, hearing Reggie make KILLER jokes followed by utter *silence* is kinda....off-putting. Either the audience isn't mic'd....or, they're sociopaths. :/

    • @kylesanders8276
      @kylesanders8276 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I work in live event production and they have to be mic'd to be heard and have enough presence in the audio to feel like you're there, unless it's like a packed, raucous small theatre.
