Every team has a bench filled with players who want to play, but rarely get the chance. This is true at every level of sport. The great players, of course, spend little if any time there. Never do they care enough about the schlumps on the bench to forfeit their own play time. Sorry not sorry. And the coach, after all, has to make the tough choices for the overall good of the team. Harsh, but that is the price of winning. All good and well until you're no longer the best player. Stephen A, Chuck and Kerr all know this and yet they defend poor Tatum. C'mon, man!
