M15 got a good amount of time feeding E’s alone before F23 joined in. Once she grabs the remaining prey he knew his time was up. E25 needs time out to expel crop, F23 wastes nothing making sure to feed those contents. Love this family 🥰🦅
Terri Stauffer. M15 tried to get a good tandem feeding going lol. He is too much! E25 was like fill me back up Mom 😉. That was good to see, and the last two days of lots of eating has been great. 🦅🦅
It's very fresh food to not be wasted. In the crop, there is no digestion. It's just kinda sitting there and when the eaglets are hungry, they will do a 'crop drop', which will move it from beneath the throat area to the tummy. If I'm wrong, Cat will be quick to correct 😂❤
@@16MedicRNoh ok, I thought it was a mixture of stuff they couldn’t digest like bones, feathers… then thought why re feed! But you’re right about not wasting.
@heidihybicki3827. As 16MedicRN shared, that was fresh food from E25’s crop, and they do not waste food. No digestion occurs in the crop, and that was bird prey E25 had just swallowed in the several minutes prior to expelling it. A crop drop is when the bird passes food from the crop to to stomach for digestion. The crop just holds and softens food until it is used.
@Laura-dolphinfan. It is our human nature to feel that way. The eaglets will learn dominance and submission, either in the nest or post fledge. The first hatch will be dominant, and hopefully will learn when to be submissive before heading out into the big world. We do occasionally see the roles reverse with eaglets. An example is E21/E22. After being submissive most of the season, E22 turned dominant when E21 was gone for several days post fledge. They went back and forth, but E22 becomes more dominant IMO. E25 should be just fine, just a smaller eaglet, for now anyway. 💙
@AngelaFosterSakaniwa. She is named F23 (F for female, 23 for 2023, the year she became the mate). In season 2, a naming contest was being held for the two eaglets. Little E3 perished unexpectedly during the contest. The Pritchett family decided at that time to use numbers moving forward. The Pritchett family own the cams. Hope that helps.
@PortsmouthCherokee. I have seen E25 cast several pellets now, but have not seen E25 empty crop contents except this one time. What is the other date, if you know of it? CamOps has not observed it (according to their banner reports).

Cặp đôi bố mẹ này thật rất tình cảm ❤❤gia đình đáng yêu lắm
How cool is that.
Well fed eaglets such a nice thing to see.
Thank God, E25 is ok - all is well in the family. Thank you, Androcat.
Everything is fine. The babies are growing up very fast. Thanks for your video!❤
Why would F23 feed the crop drop to E24?

@@heidihybicki3827 those are the pellets they bring up. In the pellet are the undigestibles 🤗

I feel sorry for E25 having to be submissive sometimes but hope he/she will turn out ok

Will F23 be named at some point? Not sure how the naming works. I know some eagles are given names and others numbers. Is it just a matter of time?

E25 has done this like twice now.
