I have an pretty lavender notebook that I brought a year ago but I haven't touched it because I'm afraid I'll ruin it with my ugly handwriting, I'm so bad at making spreads (I've made some on paper before) and I don't have decorative supplies or good pens
oh how I wish you saw my first spreads ever hahaha they were terrible! and I was also concerned about ruining my fave notebook but one day I just DID IT and that’s why I’m here now 🥰 you don’t need good pens or thousands of stickers, you can always make your own :3 at least that’s what I did when I first started! I used colourful paper from different magazines, draw some doodles to decorate or printed out some images I used as stickers! good luck and remember, it’s YOUR style and it’s supposed to make YOU happy ❤️

I want to start an anime journal but I don't have washi tape or markers, only cheap alcohol markers. And the journal I want to use is small and not that great for alcohol markers, if I end up using them. my mom won't buy me washi tape T-T
I totally get you! I started my first journal a long time ago, I didn’t have any washi tapes or stickers, all I had was a terrible notebook with super thin pages and the markers that were always bleeding through :’) so don’t worry if you don’t have all these things, just be creative and try to work with supplies that you have ❤️
