It was originally intended that Celeste was being laid off from the Tari role. However Muppet // Jasmine didnt inform her in time and was just replaced without notice.

In all seriousness, that was a really crappy move by GLITCH. Even if a voice actor's performance is a bit dull, and I'll admit, Tari isn't my fav SMG4 character, (i liked her in Meta Runner) you still inform them of the replacement, not have fans inform them of it. If it happens again, and I really hope it doesn't, GLITCH is gonna be in it deep.

@shlurpslime1212 Even if it was just the voice director, it would still reflect negatively on the company as a whole, and people are going to blame the company as a whole regardless, cause let's face it, that's what Twitter does. Also, how do you forget to inform someone that they're being replaced? That should be the first thing you do. Even if they did take accountability, it shouldn't have happened. That's just bad management.
@@LateHarmonyyou forget the voice director had to look after the digital circus cast, as well as for episode 2, as well as murder drones cast, that’s a lot of people, I may not be related to glitch in any way but like, that’s a lot of people, and Tati’s inclusion for the past in glitch was… lacking?(idk if that’s the right word for it) I mean when was the last time you seen her in glitch, maybe smg4,

not really a scandal,more like a legit mistake,a very crappy mistake and they took accountability for it and the fact that it was a crappy thing to do,it would've been way worse if they lied.

Drama videos again, they're all the same. But something I realised after a while of making SMG4 theory videos is that: Something boring can be made into something really interesting.
Not saying I want another more interesting drama video. A theory video would be nice, especially after seeing that thumbnail.
Oh yeah ahah. DO NOT expect drama videos to be a sort of "norm". Just a one off considering I had a good idea for the thumbnail and things to be catchy.

It’s very stupid, and the tari voice acting switch wasn’t the only issue as some former animators called out glitch productions for workplace abuse, meaning Kevin might not only have to face fines and lawsuits, but he also can face jail time…
i agree that not informing someone of their replacement is crappy and im atleast happy that accountability was tooken,it would've been even more crappy if they tried to lie about it,im happy to see a company in the indie scene actually admitting to a mistake instead of lying about it.
I get what has happened but as a lifelong smg4 fan, I find it weird that all of the fans have turned on Kevin and Luke because we all know they are probably amazing people. I’m not saying what happened shouldn’t be excused because it shouldn’t but I don’t think it should get them cancelled. I find it hard to believe that the people running a hilarious, stupid channel are bad people. Even so all my love to Celeste and I hope Luke and Kevin learn from this
Everyone is sort of okay with Luke. Kevin though. He sort of increased the production of SMG4 after he sorta showed his face post 2015. you saw a massive step of production quality changes which wihtout kevin SMG4 probably wouldnt of been that big but at the same time. Kevin's the more "powerful" one. the one thats shifting things. Luke is just the guy that started it all. Thats why they are all going after kevin.
This was so messed up it was a terrible move by glitch productions I’m so sad that original Va of my favourite Smg4 character Tari is no longer voicing her but things are not going to look very good………… I am not very happy about this situation……………… 😓

@@MediaDroid960 Someone basically theorized that the problems with the crunch time with the Glitch employees began around the time that Metarunner ended cause the finale felt rushed. And the crunch time reared its ugly head in episode 3 of Murder Drones.

Not sure if this will get responded to, but what im confused abt is Jasmines and Kevins last statements and how a reason for the replacement (no, not how telling Celeste was forgotten) happened. Jasmine said the reason would get shared if Celeste wanted, and it obv wasnt for the kids or teaching thing. So confusing

bUH Yeah at the time of covering this there wasnt much info. Celeste was already being laid off from the Tari role but wasnt informed so it wasnt just a random replacement. And apparently glitch working conditions are a heelhole with insane deadlines that are near impossible
I think this is part of a big meta plot that is connected to the smg4 universe and is not really happening

First Weegeepie becomes a p3d0, and now Glitch and SMG4 are facing controversy over the replacement of VAs without consent. I also heard about there being poor working conditions over at Glitch. Kind of odd considering from 2020 to 2023, no issues arose and they were dominating the indie animation industry. I thought everyone on the Glitch team had fun, I keep wishing for way too much. I'm ending this comment with 2021 SMG4 being the goat.

@Machroma They didn't make amazing digital circus it's the creation of gooseworx, but their doing her dirty by making more merch without her permission and if they did ask her then they are clearly not giving her the proceeds

I’m convinced that the message Jasmine sent was too PR-Y that Kevin is setting her to be the scapegoat and have all the blame set squarely on her. He’s trying to absolve all responsibility and pin it on Jasmine. And the fact that days after this statement comes out that they promoting all this ADC merchandise to distract everyone is telling this is a coverup attempt.
