I really appreciate the fact that Jay tried to make Ashley comfortable when she was more quiet and all. Of course she was starstruck ( I would be too lol ) but he was just so nice and humble, it made me like him and appreciate him more 🖤

I envy how relaxed and unfazed Peniel is regardless of who he is surrounded with, because I get intimidated so easily and tense up, so it is really refreshing and inspiring to watch him

It's interesting how for the sinking boat survival plan everyone drew their idea while Peniel wrote his out. If anything I would have expected Peniel to draw his out😂

But Peniel is straightforward. Observing Peniel - he is a person that follows instructions when given them, and strongly opposes when the rules and expectations are not being met. In games as such he would go "hyung you didn't do this. No, you didn't follow this rule". In this case, the instructions were to "write" out a survival plan, hence why he wrote it out. To put it simply, he is just simple minded.

The paragraph was perfect tho, well done 🙌 oh and about your situation, it could be my personality but I’m a bit of a perfectionist too when it comes down to team papers. I’d rather lead everyone than trusting someone to supervise unless I really see the leader in that person lol. I’ve finished uni now and let me tell you, I have had no less than 5 experiences where I either took the lead, or people’s works were so bad I had to re-do them myself. But it’s all great experiences looking back, and I’ve grown much more confidence through every one of them! The point I’m trying to make after this rant (🤣) is that free riders exist everywhere, personally I’ll just step up and do the best thing for me 😗

I was very interested what Peniel said about the Eunkwang. It is good to see how it is from the inside, because most of us don't know what it's like. We only see what is outside. And Peniel introduced the role of Eunkwang in the team very well. I also liked the fact that he spoke so openly about it, without any shame or fear.
And yes, Eunkwang is the best of the best for MELODY hahahah 🥰

I like the lighthearted episodes where they joke around and make fun of each other but this episode is more serious in refreshing in a way. It shows each of their wisdom and experience in the industry and what they’ve learned in terms of leadership. I like when they discussed the distinction between boss and leader. I just wish BM was there to add to the conversation because in Kard he is not an “official leader” but many times he exudes big brother and leader energy.
yes, I also like that they have separated these two words. Because in fact, they have a different meaning. Boss it has a negative meaning and can have a bad connotation, and it is rather such an authoritative use of power. While leadership is more about problem-solving and listening to members. 🙂

I will ALWAYS love Jay Parks voice and the way he speaks. He’s so articulate and passionate about everything he talks about.
I have never seen a CEO, Artist, Producer, Label owner etc. that is so down to earth and humble. If you don't know jay park you would probably think that he's a cool guy next door and then you get hit with all the fax and success that he has and you're shocked. I appreciate him and salute him for representing Korean excellence and I hope he never changes. Such an inspirational being! I would love to have a conversation with him one day and I also think that he's the best Boss/CEO that you could wish for, putting so many different diverse and talented artists together. If he ever gets to read this shoutouts to you and we appreciate what you do for our people!!!
TheQuiett (founder of Illionaire Records, Ambition Musik, and Daytona Ent.) is less intense with the whole active leadership thing but he's got an interesting mindset as a leader/mentor that's more on the hands-off side. A lot less content of him out there but he's also quite involved in large parts of the khiphop realm
I’ve been a fan for 13 years now and the one thing that will never change about jay is his Humor, he still cracks me up like no other 😂

All of Jay's advices are soo good and helpful for someone who is trying to find their way into business and I love Ashley's pov on these things because she knows she has learnt so much and given herself space to grow. It was such an interesting Ep. Always wanted to hear Jay’s view on leadership and team handling etc. I am not saying this as just a fan of Jay but he is amazing in sharing his thoughts the way he articulates the details is really good . I manage projects and I feel hectic sometimes to get people to complete task. As Jay spoke about not being so emotional and too much empathetic while getting things done and other aspects of being a leader it definitely struck a chord with me . Jay should be on Tedtalk😄❤️. It was so helpful! The way Harry , Ashley , Peniel discussed the questions with Jay made it fun and thoughtful. Love this episode . Great job everyone
I want to write the same about Jay's conversation. I saw exactly the same, that he can express his thoughts very very well. He speaks very wisely and specifically. And he can communicate her thoughts so well along with gestures. I liked what he said very much. Most of these things are very useful and can be applied to our life. It's kinda sad cuz he kept talking about the retirement but we kept denying it all the time and then he punch us in the face with the announcement. We already knew that it will happen soon but we were surprised cuz we didn't expect that it will be this year☹️
When Ashley explained herself getting pranked and Harry was talking about how they were in the wrong for pranking her like that… I was really glad he said that. Great podcast! I love getting to see/hear Jay get real. I envy his calmness. I tend to freak out internally until after a situation and hopefully when I'm alone but then I may fall apart (freak out). The sinking ship was interesting and I would choose Jay, Peniel, Ph1 and then Ashley's plan in that order. Unique perspectives. Thank all of you for being so open and real.

I guess this is the news that we will find out soon like he mentioned at around 45:50 Guess that look from Ph1 said it all. I watched this episode right when it came out earlier this month. But yesterday for some reason something told me to re-watch it again, so I did.
Jay it's been amazing following your entire career all these years. Been a fan since 2008?...since your Hot Blood days. I'm one of your OG fans. It's been a roller coaster ride throughout all these years but all in all I just want to say that you are an inspiration, you are amazing, you are a legend, great job throughout all these years, and I sincerely hope that you are happy! I remember you mentioning that one of your biggest fears is to be unhappy and I could sense that may be the case for you lately.
