Wearing Varifocal Glasses for the First Time

I'm getting old.
And one thing that happens when you get old is presbyopia.
It's a natural process when the lenses harden out over time. It usually starts around the mid forties.
So, yes, but: There are tools to deal with that. Like there are tools to deal with most things the human body can't do so perfectly. Like flying or walking on water.
Here's my first experience wearing varifocal glasses. The tool that helps You deal with persbyopia.
And honestly: It's great. Should have gotten some of them earlier.

I know the feeling I got my first ever glasses this year and they are varfocal too, it did take some getting use to, I also bought a pair of computer glasses, they are great

I’ve recently got a pair of varifocal glasses for nearly a week now, not adjusted to them yet, slight dizziness when you quickly move around. Will wearing varifocals cause problems when cycling to work?

Youll get used to it. But for cycling I take them off most of the Times. Just too bendy.

@@philipp7pc I can see where I am going ok and happy with it but the reading aspect is not good I can only read couple words at a time the reading scope is very narrow…thanks for asking.

@@Blaze23557You need to go back to the optician. Common causes of the reading zone being too narrow include; fitting cross not coincident with visual axis (possibly due to inaccurate pupillary distance), insufficient pantoscopic tilt, back vertex distance too great.
