- I personally love both these dramas so much I don't think they can compare to one another but I read somewhere that Suranne Jones said Scott & Bailey was the Cagney & Lacey of Manchester so I thought I'd put the theory to the test. When you really get into it it's scary how many similarities there are.

I think I've now, in the space of one day, watched all the clips there are on youtube all thanks to your video. :) I like the sweet moments between them where it shows their friendship. This i what I love about Scott and bailey and it's great to see in another TV show :D

3:30 is Don't I Know You? from series 7 where Cagney gets raped and 3:41 is from Who Said it's Fair in series 4 when Lacey finds out she's got breast cancer. I've got all 7 series downloaded off itunes :)
I'm making more vids at the mo, Cagney vs Bailey & Scott vs Lacey and comparing similar storylines of the two, that sort of thing but I'd be happy to put some clips on if you like. Any you want in particular?

You say you got C&L from iTunes. How on earth were you able to get clips into a video? I have tried and tried and failed. Maybe because I have a Mac. PM me if you get a chance. Very clever video, btw. I can see that a lot of thought and time went into it. :)
