Try putting a fuel injector in the tailpipe, and there, you have afterburner! Well, it will require some redesigning. Many parts will have to be painted with a heat protection paint. There will be extra weight due to the paint and the afterburner system weight. But if you succeed, you will be the first RC pilot to fly a RC Aircraft with a afterburner! I wonder if it will require some runway redesigning as well. Anyways, it is already cool without a burner. And a burner may not be a good idea... I think it may be best to stick without a burner.

If so how long can/do you leave the battery plugged in prior to flight? Are there any disadvantages of using the switch? I assume it only works with Jeti?

Yes to jeti only. This model i'm using and it's cousin that works with any other items is very much not parasitic. It is when an R3 is used as an off/on switch that if your batteries are left connected they will be toast in about 2 days.

And maybe one more thing😂 (just as a suggestion nothing wrong with the regular tanks) what about a bladder tank? I just converted a 1:4.5 l39 from regular tanks to bladder and saved with all re adjustments 1200g dry weight.
Yes the LGC 15 is a great option. I have them in stock but opted to keep it simple and also had this controller to use. Would love to use a Fuel Bag but as mentioned they are not approved here. Hopefully YET is thekey.
