    Great review -- thanks! I know it's been a while since you posted this video, but I just recently found out about the AC Thirteen and was very glad to find your comprehensive review. Like you, I'm a guy who wants a compact, minimalist bag for EDC purposes, so it was great to learn that you've had a positive experience with the Thirteen.
    Again, your review was very detailed, well presented and informative -- thanks for helping me make the decision to purchase a Thirteen! 👍😁👍😁

    Subscribed - the way you do reviews is clear, and far more detailed than some of the recent ones on able carry.
    How waterproof are the main ykk zippers? Good for regular rain?

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Ray 👋 thanks for joining Team KBA and glad you found my video useful, appreciate it. The main waterproof ykk zippers do very well, i recently exercised outdoors with it (for weight) in constant, quite heavy rain for a good amount of time. The bag itself got very wet and I was concerned if it soaked through the bag but everything inside were still intact and dry. For light rain over a long period of time it'll hold up well with confidence or mid/ heavy rain over a reasonable length of time too.
      I'm hoping to upload the daily backpack up soon and testing the cordura version but this is quite a nice compact companion for mixed water conditions.
      Any more questions let me know!
      Keep being awesome, 1TT

    Hi, may I ask what's the foldable phone stand you're using? Thank you!

    Aren't there little hidden pockets in the straps? I thought I remembered hearing there are secret pockets in the straps so you can slip in a metro card or hidden cash, etc.

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Jen yes there are something I overlooked in the video. I don't personally use it but will store commuting cards. You can slide earphones inside too

      @@OneTechTraveller Do you feel those pockets are sturdy and reliable? I just ordered the bag for an upcoming trip (it has not arrived yet), but I’m kind of afraid to use those pockets and have my money or cards fall out.

    Hey I noticed when you were wearing it, it was pretty low on the back. Is this because the straps wouldn't go any tighter? I like to wear my backpacks as high on the back as possible to carry the weight properly. They mention on the website that it is made for women or people with narrow shoulders and the shoulder straps are more narrow than the other backpacks

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey 👋 i wear it pretty high up most of the time so its resting on my upper back and airy around the lower back. Absolutely fine to do and I've carried many things inside. I loosen it to allow air to breathe through to my back since I was hiking so was very sweaty! But yes you definitely can.
      As for the shoulders it hugs more closer to my neck or upper part of my shoulders so runs a little narrow. I have vroad shoulders but I've been happy with it and no problem for me 👌

    Love your review and the white alpine color. Quick question, does the white color get dirty easily or easy to clean?

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Jack thanks! It does get dirty easily so you have to b3 careful. I use mine mostly for outdoor workouts so you can expect its pretty rough around the shoulder straps and edges but still looks white. Needs a clean however lol

    There isn't any padding on the base of the backpack is there ?

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Daiso 👋, yeah theres no padding on the base, maybe a little more. It's not a bag that sits upright but lays on it's back

      @@OneTechTraveller ahhh that makes more sense now .. thanks so much for your reply.. trying to figure out what would suit my needs.. the capacity of this bag is just right with all the compartments and pockets but the facr that it cant sit upright kinda puts me off..

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome! Yeah I understand it would be nice if it. I use it as my minimal backpack thats light and small especially if im outgoing or moving around the city. Its my day to day bag because bigger bags are bigger bulkier and heavier than what i need to bring. This one is light and well padded enough for my tech gear and nimble to move around which i love. Hope u find the right one for you but thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the review (I also read your blog!). Have you tried putting any camera cube or insert into the Thirteen?If so, what volume/capacity did you try? How does it feel walking around for an extended period of time with a bit of load?

    • @OneTechTraveller
      @OneTechTraveller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Intan sorry didn't get notified about your message. Thanks hope you find them useful! I haven't but you definitely can as long as it isn't a big one. I end up just using a cloth wrap around my camera when I'm hiking. I like tight tension so it's hugged up against the top of my shoulders, better way to work heavier loads although the back can heat up and build up sweat so I loosen from time to time.
