I'd read some articles and they all mentioned many ordinary watch repairing people felt headache when dealing with 7750 movement. Now I can see why. Interesting though, this Chinese knockoff movement is not just simply copy the original one but have some sort of improvement as well.
The genuine 7750 has a 2 piece intermediate setting wheel that when lubricated properly will slip and prevent breakage of the day/date driving wheels. In any case this solution wouldn't have helped the day quickset since that is set backwards.
My Breitling Navitimer clone with automatic 7750 movement has been hard to wind lately and the crown doesn't want to push in all the way, sometimes I have to pull it out and push it back in a few times before it will start ticking. Will you tell me what it might be or what I can check? It's only about a year old.
@@JosephDAndrea0121 Thanks for the reply, it's still going but I haven't had it looked at yet. I've been watching videos on servicing them and need to buy some oils and I might try to tackle it myself soon.
Dear video creator, hello! Please tell me, what is the height of the shaft (rod) on the ETA 7750 (7753) model? Overall, height 7.9mm, diameter 30mm. I want to put this mechanism in my watch, but I don’t know if the height of the shaft (rod) is suitable
@@sstakoff thank you. Well I know that someone have successfully done this with a GMT module for the 7750 /77xx GMT/ Breitling nAvitimer GMT .I think I will end up with a 7753 and deal with no date quickset
I'm guessing that none of these (Chinese?) parts are drop-in replacements for Swiss ETA parts. ETA won't sell parts to us unwashed masses anymore along with every other Swiss brand.

Has Stu posted a video (somewhere?) for RE-assembling the 7750 Clone Chronograph?
are you located in the us and would you be able to repair this exact movement if mailed to you?
Stuart. Do you do repairs of clone movements by any chance?
