Hello everybody! Welcome to this wood-themed relaxation session including various kinds of wood, cork, and bamboo (which is actually a type of grass, but it looks and sounds a lot like wood so I included it too ^.^). I tried a woodgrain design on my nails with some glittery knotholes to match the triggers in this video ~ I think it looks kinda pretty, what do you think? 01:43 :) I used a new setup with 4 studio mics for the first time, which required some new hardware and software, so I'm still learning how to make it sound the way I would like it to. I think I can make some improvements, like recording the sounds a little closer to your ears and with a little less mic self-noise, but I will keep learning and testing things out to see what I can do for you guys 💜 I hope you will enjoy the sounds in this assortment and find them very relaxing and sleepy. I think ASMR is the reason I’ve gotten out of so many depressive episodes, especially Caroline’s, her voice is so soothing and her smile is contagious so even if my eyes are clouded by tears I can still smile with her, thank you

Ya know in a weird way asmrist have to much power, like they could yell in the mic at any time and we would all just like die 😂
That's exactly why the Ontario Amber Alert is scary. Like this screeching tone can go off on my phone at any point in the night, it's a different type of fear.
@@BlackMetalSparkHead Except an amber alert is for good reason, you know.. a missing child. I'm from Ontario too and I'm honestly sick of people who dial 911 because their sleep is disturbed. If it's such a fear for you, you can turn off emergency alerts in your phone settings (on most Android phones it's settings > apps & notifications > advanced > emergency alerts), put your phone on do not disturb, turn it off, OR be a decent human and not think your sleep/comfort is more important than the life of a child. Amber alerts work, a couple of the missing Ontario children this year were found directly thanks to the amber alerts that went out (people recognizing the license plates broadcasted and calling in), and one of those children was found murdered. That's what's scary, that's what fear is.

@@rickelroyce1917 The Amber alert is a good thing, I didn't say otherwise. The tone has always scared me since they started using it on the radio, that's all. I hate that people waste resources and complain to 911 about it. The Amber alert saves kids lives, and I have no problem with it waking me up.

The 4 mic setup is kinda trippy but kinda dope bc the way the sound travels makes me feel like the front mics are my “outer ear” and the back mics are my “inner ear.” You especially notice it during the bit w/ the trivet. Anyone else getting those vibes?

If you can’t hear the separate mics, and you have an IPhone, go to settings > accessibility > audio/visual > turn off Mono audio
Mono combines both the left and right ear sounds so it’s all one so if it’s turned off, then the left and right ear audios are separate! Mine was turned on and I figured this out and it helps so much!
