Amazing compilation!! Love the Chief units!
Thanks! Chicago Chiefs are some of my favourite!
Awesome camerawork! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much! :)
This is the ONLY Reason why i love chicago, Whenever they're responding to Calls like CFD or CPD,
I imagine them as from the Tv show Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD xD
great catches and video coipition of this fie department
Ladder 3 is my fav one 🤩
Good jobs from France
Sweet video! Keep up the good work!
Thank you kindly 😊
Wow I never saw a chief vehicle use a siren I mostly hear on a fire truck (first clip)
oh
@MOPARGuy
It's unusual for sure but that's Chicago for you ;-)
Can you do a video about the fire department of Chicago fire serie??
I can't really do one about Chicago Fire as it's NBC's property but I can do videos about the Chicago Fire Department itself :)
Nice
chicago sure likes thier EQ2bs! Nice work!
Imagine if u got one of Truck 81 from Chicago Fire responding for the show XD
Amazing video.
Was the green Fleet Service and Management truck part of Chicago Fire?
What the heck is that thing at minute 4:16 heck of a unit there. Body of a small squad truck with a ariel unit.
You seem to travel a lot, every time you upload you're in a different city lol
Well some videos may be pre-recorded then uploaded a later time.
I'm a wizard !
Haha as Pumpkin stated, I record a lot of the videos then schedule them to go up at certain future times. I do travel a lot though!
That Fire Department siren looks same to the Fire Department of New York City.
I love my job! Best in the world.
Can I use the first 2 clips for a police tribute for the first responders
Nice!
Awesome
nice
I also live in Chicago
When can I apply to CFD, recruitment is avaiable all the time? What is the point system? How many recruits for one place?
Why do EMS and fire trucks has that green light?
Nat what happened when a tornado warning in Chicago
By Chicago you had to steal our sirens NYC BTW
Chicago has been Using the Eq2b siren long before FDNY lol. Chicago started using the EQ2B back in 2002, just a FYI
@@Born2doom Im A Retired Fdny Firefighter We Started Using The Eq2b On 2001
Btw This Is My Son Acc
@@francisconstantino9280 no shit? And Chicago started using them in 2001 I meant as well when they were first introduced. I thought y’all were using the PA300s up until 2010?
@@Born2doom No The Others Company Using Pa300 Because They're Truck Is A Spare All The Brand New truck Using Eq2b
Is there a reason why the fire engines have one green light
Ethan.Dalton I think it’s a tradition
Yeah it's tradition. I believe it dates back to the days when the maritime community most often provided fire services.
@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmerica oh makes sense
@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmerica and also thanks for telling me
@@ethan.dalton6404 Happy to be informative! :)
Why do cfd use green lights? I seen it out a truck where I live so I started researching to see if fire trucks have green lights.
SAVION WELLS it’s an old nautical tradition that carried over to CFD and many suburban departments
I'm from Columbia Missouri they have them to but every where green lights
Very odd question does anyone know why truck have green lights?
Or is it just a very odd shade of blue
One of the commissioners family owned steamboats and they had green on the right side
So when he become commissioner he had them put a green light on the right side
Can anybody tell me what truck manufacturers these trucks curios to know?
Currently they have a contract with E-one
But a few years ago they bought some Rosenbauer squads
And spartan engines and Pierce ladders
Chicago is currently switching to all Eones per the new contract. The rigs you see in this video range from Pierce, Rosenbauer, and Spartan
Sounds like New York trucks
Why CFD trucks have that green light?
Tradition
What type of siren were those vehicles using?
Federal Signal EQ2B
@@CobraEmergency I find it odd that all of the Chicago FD vehicles have it when most Fire department vehicles have a different type of siren.
@@nicholaspeberdy8537 Yeah Chicago is unique in that aspects. Most Fire Departments the Ambulances and Cars have different sirens to the Engines & Trucks.
CobraEmergencyVideos they all responded with federal but their horn is not the same
@@nicholaspeberdy8537 a lot of departments are switching to the EQ2B, FDNY and LA county FD have recently just switched. Idk if it’s for noise regulations or what, because even the EQ2B is a very loud siren.
Why do CFD have gren lights on the right side of the light
Amirul Sufyan you just said it
@@NovaStar1
?
Singapore it indicates left and right
@@NovaStar1 so green is right, red is left.
Amirul Sufyan red left green right i think
U MEAN tornado siren in Chicago
I live far but not to far from Chicago I live in buffalo n.y
That's cool I want to do Buffalo
TERRIBLE & ANNOYING. No reason to have to pass by every 5 minutes. There’s no way it's an emergency so often in the Downtown area. Its ridiculous. I stay on the 18th floor and yet, I hear it as if I'm on the first.
I hate how the new rigs have like really shitty horns
