I only have 2 questions: 7:21 Ping search engine option - was removed as it is no longer supported by google, so can I assume that pinging google is done automatically behind the scenes? 15:20 Regarding duplicate content - what about content that is translated into another language? I am using PolyLang to translate all my pages from English to another language, which means the page is first being cloned in order to implement the translation. Does google treat those pages as duplicates? I will mention that I am translating the pages manually (i.e., not using any translation machines). Many thanks again!

While pinging Google is not done automatically behind the scenes, search engines like Google regularly crawl and index websites on their own without the need for manual pinging. When it comes to translated content, such as translating a piece of content into another language, Google and other search engines consider it unique content. With translated content, you do not need to worry about causing duplicate content issues. Rank Math SEO adds a proper canonical tag to each translated post/page to ensure Google and other search engines know where the original piece of content is located. PolyLang, by itself, does not have native compatibility with Rank Math. Hello, Thanks for your comment. It is completely normal for a newly published post/page/website to take time before it gets crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URL. Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed. You can also check for noindex tag here to rule out that your page isn’t getting indexed due to a mistake in plugin settings: smallseotools.com/meta-tags-analyzer/ If noindex is not present, then it is just a waiting game before Google decides to include the URL in the index. No SEO plugin can force Google to index something they don’t want to. Hi Jack, can I ask why after having multiple pages ranking on google for weeks, google decides to deindex some of them all of a sudden? What's strange is that these pages carry alot of internal linking which unlike orphaned pages have little chance of being indexed. Question: one of my GBPs was suspended and I needed to change my address on the other one. Now both need business video verification. Both of my businesses offer service, digital marketing, and pressure washing. So customers don't come to me, and I didnt want my home address on Google for my businesses. Hello, I decided to move my website from wordpress to HTML 5 , however im stuck when it comes to search console . I tried to remove the property so as to resubmit it afresh but this doesnt work. i removed the console tracking code from the domain but when i try to add property afresh it auto-verifies the domain and brings back the old data, the old indexed pages etc. ive actualy removed the tracking code but i keep being verified as the owner of the website so i cant start afresh. I want to start over because the initial naming of the pages on wordpress doesnt march with the new html site. Also im more profecient with HTML rather than wordpress. So to start on a clean slate and submit the new website afresh entirely, start from zero , kindly what do i have to do ?

Regarding duplicate or similar content that Google won't index. What happens when you're a news portal reporting on a forest fire for example. Everyone else will be writing and reporting about the same thing. What happens to smaller news portals when Ranked sites make your reporting of the news on your website unindexed? I have a site that I've submitted a sitemap for, and then removed and resubmitted many times over the years but it is still stuck in GSC saying sitemap last crawled in May 2019 19 pages indexed. hi, I appologize to bother you, .... but since i did not get any reply on support forum of rankmath so i had to write here:-- I have installed rank math free on my wordpress. When I submit my sitemap to Google inspection..live test, I get rejected with the info:-No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header. I have all my rank math setup done correctly, also have unchecked “discourage search engines from indexing”I have cleared my website cache as well as hostinger cache, and then updated rank math to latest version. I have also deleted the site map and updated again. Still the issue persists. At last I deactivated rank math then the live test was Successful and my URL got added to priority crawl queue. Is there a way to solve the " noindex detected in X-Robots-Tag http header" so that I can keep the Rank math activated ?

Stay away from rank math. My site got some issue after their automatic xml site map submit to google. They submit so many links that we don't know about and try to get penalty from Google for copy write issue. only use rank math if you're lazy to optimize manually

The "Ping search engine" option was removed as it is no longer supported by Google. While pinging Google is not done automatically behind the scenes, search engines like Google regularly crawl and index websites on their own without the need for manual pinging.
When it comes to translated content, such as translating a piece of content into another language, Google and other search engines consider it unique content. With translated content, you do not need to worry about causing duplicate content issues.
Rank Math SEO adds a proper canonical tag to each translated post/page to ensure Google and other search engines know where the original piece of content is located.
PolyLang, by itself, does not have native compatibility with Rank Math. Hence you will need to add this code snippet manually to your website for the integration - rankmath.com/kb/polylang-compatibility/

I proceed to add the codes as per the instructions in the link provided. I indeed received some email alerts from google search console that some pages could not be indexed due to reasons such as canonical URLs and redirections, so I suspect this is correlated to translated pages using polylang.
I would appreciate one last clarification from your end - now that I've added the codes, does it take care of adjusting everything automatically, or is there anything else I need to do on my end? I didn't see reference to any further actions on the instruction page.

It is completely normal for a newly published post/page/website to take time before it gets crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URL. Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.
You can also check for noindex tag here to rule out that your page isn’t getting indexed due to a mistake in plugin settings:

If noindex is not present, then it is just a waiting game before Google decides to include the URL in the index. No SEO plugin can force Google to index something they don’t want to.
With that said, we have found that barring any issues like copied/DMCA/low-quality content issues - Google usually indexes posts within a week or two. So, we request you to kindly wait.

Hi Jack, can I ask why after having multiple pages ranking on google for weeks, google decides to deindex some of them all of a sudden? What's strange is that these pages carry alot of internal linking which unlike orphaned pages have little chance of being indexed. Question: one of my GBPs was suspended and I needed to change my address on the other one. Now both need business video verification. Both of my businesses offer service, digital marketing, and pressure washing. So customers don't come to me, and I didnt want my home address on Google for my businesses. I decided to move my website from wordpress to HTML 5 , however im stuck when it comes to search console . I tried to remove the property so as to resubmit it afresh but this doesnt work. i removed the console tracking code from the domain but when i try to add property afresh it auto-verifies the domain and brings back the old data, the old indexed pages etc. ive actualy removed the tracking code but i keep being verified as the owner of the website so i cant start afresh. I want to start over because the initial naming of the pages on wordpress doesnt march with the new html site. Also im more profecient with HTML rather than wordpress.

I have a site that I've submitted a sitemap for, and then removed and resubmitted many times over the years but it is still stuck in GSC saying sitemap last crawled in May 2019 19 pages indexed. hi, I appologize to bother you, .... but since i did not get any reply on support forum of rankmath so i had to write here:--
I have installed rank math free on my wordpress.
When I submit my sitemap to Google inspection..live test, I get rejected with the info:-No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header.
I have all my rank math setup done correctly, also have unchecked “discourage search engines from indexing”I have cleared my website cache as well as hostinger cache, and then updated rank math to latest version.
I have also deleted the site map and updated again. Still the issue persists.
At last I deactivated rank math then the live test was Successful and my URL got added to priority crawl queue. Is there a way to solve the " noindex detected in X-Robots-Tag http header" so that I can keep the Rank math activated ?

Yes, the Instant Indexing feature is available in Rank Math Free out of the box. But this version is for the IndexNow API that Bing and other search engines use

If you require Instant Indexing feature for Google, then you need to install the separate plugin and configure it as we walked through in this tutorial:

We wouldn’t recommend using both Rank Math and Google Site Kit in parallel for the following reasons:
Features Overlap: Rank Math includes a number of features that overlap with what Google Site Kit offers. It also allows you to integrate your website with Google account services like Google Search Console, Analytics, AdSense, and PageSpeed score within a matter of a few clicks.
Limiting Number of Active Plugins: Having multiple plugins for the same set of tasks will certainly have an impact on how fast your website loads. It is why we always recommend not to use more than one SEO plugin on a website.
Plugin Conflict: Since Rank Math and Site Kit have similar features, they tend to target the same code functionalities on your website. It might lead to duplicate queries, as they will require data from your site’s Google Search Console & Analytics property, which might lead to plugin conflicts.
However, if you still want to use Google Site Kit along with Rank Math, you can disable the Analytics module in Rank Math to avoid any possible plugin conflict.

hello, i enabled maintenance mode while designing website, then I removed maintenance mode when my website is ready, and I indexed the website on google and also optimized the website with rankmath, but it's still showing in maintenance status on google search!!! but my website is already live

Stay away from rank math. My site got some issue after their automatic xml site map submit to google. They submit so many links that we don't know about and try to get penalty from Google for copy write issue. only use rank math if you're lazy to optimize manually
