Those ships were the last and only piece of potentially solid ground I was never able to get to in the vanilla game. I could launch myself in their general direction hundreds of times but the screen goes black for so long that steering myself to land on the ships is impossible (and the distance might be so massive that it's impossible to make it there with the 20 second time limit no matter how hard you launch yourself, unless you get an angle that sends you straight towards them and get insanely lucky). Not surprised to see that they're solid (although it's possible that the screen never reappears without mods even if you somehow manage to land on one of those ships). I also tried billboard surfing in the general direction of those ships to see if I could get the screen to reappear or confirm whether the ships are solid (since you aren't in the air you can billboard surf over the ocean forever) but again the huge distance where the screen is black made it impossible to see where I was going and billboard surfing is so slow it could take over 20 minutes just to make it even if you're lucky enough to steer yourself correctly. And even assuming you got to the ship with billboard surfing you couldn't get on top of it because any action would require you to let go of the billboard which would make it despawn and make your character reset back onto solid land. These ships were my white whale and I'd love to try to get there again but it would require unbelievable luck. The nearest on-land area has a set of cargo containers where you can use a set of glitches to get yourself and an upside down ramp inside, which if you flip the ramp over in a specific spot and use make upright while standing on it, you get one of the most effective launching methods in the game. I have used that method to launch myself at tremendous speeds in the direction of those boats dozens of times and never got my screen to reappear, much less landed on one of the boats. If the ground is solid and the screen reappears there like it does on the Art Gallery basketball court then I'm sure it's possible to land on one of those boats but like I said the amount of luck that would take is insane.
@@HelixSnake Yea, there is a mod tool to place park objects anywhere in the map. The ship has no collisions so i've placed pads under the ships floor, but it's still interesting to explore some of these close up.
@@HelixSnake I thought the same thing when i saw this clip I got sad once i saw how his foot isnt actually on the boat but rather a object underneath also ur an amazing dude ive looked up to u and I myself have milked this game dry of glitches I dont think there is a spot on the map i havent been besides some of the large patches of ragdoll/reset grass thanks for all the amazing content youve made and thanks for showing me around half the glitches i know now

What actually takes talent and skill is learning how to perfect your angles and timing, along with actually keeping a line going without messing up and without cheesing the trick system. Everyone can do an airwalk, but nobody can do a speed glitch to 360 superdude to across the map ramp to vertical speed glitch to railing hop to manual backflip. Hit me up when you know the difference between Jean shorts and skateboards

I've been told they weren't solid and the mod puts solid platforms under the ship. Welp.
