Yesterday Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela women came out in full display of their culture and tradition as they bid farewell to their very own. According to their tradition, when a woman of such a position, as the late Queen mother MmaSeingwaeng, is laid to rest, she is sent off by the regiment women. They sing and dance to songs they were taught when at initiation schools. This way they celebrate what and who the woman stood for.
