Binge watching after I found y’all recently. WOW I’m amazed how much we have in common! I’m y’all’s age, from the Decatur area; my husband is from Huntsville and we lived there for many years. I’m very familiar with Patches & Stitches and The Cross Stitch Peddler. Now I live in rural Kentucky and order from Etsy so much that my husband has threatened to build an extra room for the accumulation. Oh, and I have a Boston Terrier. ETA: I’m a monogamous cross stitcher but I have several knitting projects going at all times.

Hi from VA! Absolutely loved watching y’all today, & cannot wait for the next video! I have 3 very girlie, grown daughters (well, the youngest is almost 16, & you know how that is🤣), so pink brings a lot of joy to this stitcher’s heart. I have 22 WIPs at the moment, which include everything from large samplers like His Eye is on the Sparrow to small ornaments, & my goal is always to finish at least 1 project/month. I keep a 6x5 monthly rotation of larger projects in my journal, so each month 6 of those get 5 days of attention. Helps to see a good amount of progress. Love your first floss tube. Also love Alabama. When my husband was alive, we lived full-time in a Tiffin motorhome. Did that for 14 years until he passed away in 2016. We spent many winters at Bella Terra RV resort in Gulf Shores. Actually, the resort was in Foley but close enough to Gulf Shores to call it that. We had to many many a trek up to red Bay to get things fixed on the motorhome, because Tiffin motorhomes were built in red bay. No longer because I believe it was Thor that bought out Tiffin. Anyway, I absolutely love the people in Alabama. I currently live in Savannah Georgia, but born and raised in New York, married my husband, who was in the Navy, and never looked back. Out of all the southern states we’ve been to I find the people in Alabama, the friendliest, and the most honest. I too, am a monogamous stitcher. I tried having several whips going at one time and got so aggravated because I wasn’t getting anywhere on any of them so I’m back to one at a time. I have subscribed. When I was in Gulf Shores, last which was in 2016 where my husband actually passed away there was no LNS. Looking forward to your next video. Stitcher’s Heart.

@@FlossBossinCousins no unfortunately the closest LNS is Jacksonville Florida. There is a shop in Hilton head but it’s mostly a needlepoint shop. The one in Jacksonville closed during Covid and they keep saying they’ll reopen after renovations but it’s been three years.
@@Savannahstitchermaybe they will reopen! We don't have one close to us either...that's my dream is to retire and open an LNS...a girl can dream, can't see?????
I really enjoyed your flosstube and am looking forward to your next one. I try to stay at 10 WIPS, try being the operative word but then Market happens, and that all goes out the window. 😂 The Stitcher's Heart is beautiful!

I just watched your first video and I absolutely love you two … and Christy you are a southpaw too … I watched a new video awhile ago and I am from Newbern, Alabama which is about 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa … I started watching Kimberly Jolly from Fat Quarter Shop and was so glad to be able to order cross stitch materials since there is no needle shop close to me … then Running With Scissors with Jane and Julie … and the Vintage Stitcher and now y’all … I will have to play catch up by watching y’all’s videos every night till I catch up to present date … love your show ❤️ … Dena

Great job Callie & Christy! I loved finding and watching your new channel after Vonna mentioned you. I love that you two speak "Southern" so well!! I am from Tennessee and you feel like neighbors to me. I am mostly a monogamous stitcher and I can't seem to break that habit. I might have a large sampler and maybe 1 small going at the same time, but only to give me a break and to have a new finish between the much larger samplers. I LOVE BBD, Plum Street, Brenda Gervais, La-D-Da, Heartstring Samplery, and many others. By the way, Bonnie Woomer of the Nebby Needle lives just a few miles from me and I have bumped into her at our LNS on previous visits. She is so nice and such a great designer. Hello from Arlington, Texas! I have come back to cross stitching after a 25 year hiatus, and I jumped in with both feet. There are so many awesome designers and patterns now! And FlossTubers, my goodness! I'm a monogamous stitcher but you wouldn't know it from my pile of patterns. I'm 69 and will have to live to 100 with good eyes and steady hands to make it through all the patterns I have purchased in the last few months. You need to add Stitching Bunny to your list of FlossTubers to watch. She is delightful. I'm looking forward to watching your future FlossTubes 😃

So I was watching Two Needles Pulling Thread yesterday and Missy was talking about you guys and how she had to have an empty bladder and not drinking anything to watch so I went and substituted sight unseen. Now after this first one…yep…big fan. When you were walking us through your menagerie of animals, I expected you to end with ‘and a partridge in a pear tree 😂🤣 Anyway, I was a monogamous stitcher and then got burned out. So I hit a milestone and then switched, hit a milestone and switched back. So mostly monogamous 🤷🏼♀️ Here I go…on to episode 2. And maybe if TH-cam pays well for all your followers, y’all will stay out of the doghouse and fund your passion! 😉

I like to work on one project at a time but I like to watch those with many wips. If you record horizontally, your show will look like other TH-camrs. I like horizontal shows best. Congrats on your first show!

Great job Callie & Christy! I loved finding and watching your new channel after Vonna mentioned you. I love that you two speak "Southern" so well!! I am from Tennessee and you feel like neighbors to me. I am mostly a monogamous stitcher and I can't seem to break that habit. I might have a large sampler and maybe 1 small going at the same time, but only to give me a break and to have a new finish between the much larger samplers. I LOVE BBD, Plum Street, Brenda Gervais, La-D-Da, Heartstring Samplery, and many others. By the way, Bonnie Woomer of the Nebby Needle lives just a few miles from me and I have bumped into her at our LNS on previous visits. She is so nice and such a great designer. Hello from Arlington, Texas! I have come back to cross stitching after a 25 year hiatus, and I jumped in with both feet. There are so many awesome designers and patterns now! And FlossTubers, my goodness! I'm a monogamous stitcher but you wouldn't know it from my pile of patterns. I'm 69 and will have to live to 100 with good eyes and steady hands to make it through all the patterns I have purchased in the last few months. You need to add Stitching Bunny to your list of FlossTubers to watch. She is delightful. I'm looking forward to watching your future FlossTubes 😃

So I was watching Two Needles Pulling Thread yesterday and Missy was talking about you guys and how she had to have an empty bladder and not drinking anything to watch so I went and substituted sight unseen. Now after this first one…yep…big fan. When you were walking us through your menagerie of animals, I expected you to end with ‘and a partridge in a pear tree 😂🤣 Anyway, I was a monogamous stitcher and then got burned out. So I hit a milestone and then switched, hit a milestone and switched back. So mostly monogamous 🤷🏼♀️ Here I go…on to episode 2. And maybe if TH-cam pays well for all your followers, y’all will stay out of the doghouse and fund your passion! 😉
