Is the Disney Cruise Beer Mug a rip off?

This video describes the value proposition of purchasing the Disney Cruise souvenir beer mug. NOTE: $7.67 is the price for both the 16 oz pint without the Souvenir Beer Mug and the 20 oz with the Disney Cruise Souvenir Beer Mug. It's the Same price either way - that is where the value comes from having the mug. In other words, the price of the beer itself is the same whether it’s the 16 ounce or the pre-purchased 20 ounce souvenir mug.

Going in a couple of months. What's weird is I no longer see the beer mug available for purchase under the DCL Onboard Gifts page for my cruise. Guess they ran out.
