The wisest advice was given by Robert Katz. Responding to the Miguel statement: It is not just about just making a film but a successful one. An artist must believe and stand by their because if one compromises & it gets made & it becomes a piece of shift, the artist will suffer. So I tell all of us warriors of our visions. fight for your vision regardless how long it takes & how hard the battle, and savor the ultimate victory. Remember Stallone and Rocky. Starving he turned down $200K but he fought for his vision & won. That's a hero to inspire us.
@Producers Guild of America, Regarding the great advice given on first time producing, does that logic apply to television as well or is it exclusive to the big screen?
I definitely agree with you guys I always hate that. When you know that you have a real great idea but you couldn't give it to someone else. But unfortunately that would probably be your only option.
Breezy and KDot The Music Stars Read my comment. Fuck the opposition. And there will be opposition (listen to Two Hands video by TD Jakes). Fight, if you believe in your vision.
I remember some years back I have an idea for a show and I made a mistake of telling this guy who was working at this production company what happened while I was back east he went stole my idea and took the credit for the show. Ever since then I'm little bit more hesitant of telling anybody any ideas I have a preferred keeping it to myself.
