I Want to say i read that their manager is one Zoltan of 5FDP and that coupled with the own experiences are a BIG part of their success. On top of this last year when Ivan had his issues and had to be away from the band, Vext stepped in for Ivan With 5FDP on tour pushing them into the eyes of their fan base. They had already recorded the song. They did not want to release this song without Delores's blessing, so they was able to get the song to her, and she loved it so much she wanted to record it with them. They day she died, was the day she was to meet in the studio to re-record it. Once they heard she had died, they were gong to shelf the song, not release it at all, because the refused to profit off it, knowing it would sake mainly because of her passing. That is when they decided to release it and donate 100% to her kids. Very awesome outcome to the worst outcome of trying to re-record the song with her!

So I grew up in the time of "The Troubles" that was going on, I was always perplexed as to why a nation that claimed to be our greatest ally "The United States of America" was funding and arming our greatest threat "The Irish Republican Army" a domestic terrorism organization.

This song and the original are great. I was a teenager when the two young lads were killed by the terrorist bombings which was the original inspiration for this song. So I grew up in the time of "The Troubles" that was going on, I was always perplexed as to why a nation that claimed to be our greatest ally "The United States of America" was funding and arming our greatest threat "The Irish Republican Army" a domestic terrorism organization.
