It's right after he saw properly how William punched at the bricks to express his thrilled feelings, so it kind of seem like Bentley was observing & imitated, thinking it was a way to let out the hyped up feeling. & his facial expression after punching William was kind of in a bright way, so it made me feel like Bentley is just very young child who just misinterpreted the situation & thought that hitting at that moment is acceptable. Poor boy. He's still learning, don't blame him too much.
