You should hear the laugh in "When I Say Jump, You Say How High" by I See Stars. It's at the beginning. It's wicked and makes the laugh in this one pale in comparison in my opinion.

Happened to me too. I knew they existed but never got around to listen to their stuff until I found "This Light I Hold" (the track, not the album) which had Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach and probably one of my favorite singers in terms of Rock) as featuring. After This Light I Hold, I checked out much more of them.
i love how mmf put messages in all their songs.
Man, this takes me back. Used to jam this song back in 2012 during my sophomore year of highschool. Completely forgot about it and just recently found it again. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug.

I came across this video 8 years ago and decided to listen to it just for the hell of it, immediately after went on a MMF binge, they became my favorite band, I've seen them live about 6 times now.. it's been 8 years and I still cant comprehend how an album could be THIS great.
All I can say is that this song is so fucking good just like almost all of their songs, the emotions, lyrics, everything. Awesome band, fits how I feel atm!

Seeing them in Seattle was such a mind blowing experience. When Matty said "how many of you are long time fans?!", everyone cheered, then this hit and everyone around me was just blinded. It was obvious they were there for the release of Misery, but I welcomed it and had a blast rocking out with strangers who didn't know this song or anything from their earlier years.
Met some damn good people that night, and I'll never forget it.

Joe Willard Signing a record label is half the marketing, plus they handle most of the work regarding merchandise, PR, social media, album and song arrangements, etc. etc.
Don't hate on record labels, most of them are led by regular people like you and me. Sure, some are corrupt but a lot of institutions/organizations are. It's unavoidable.

Eila Juutilainen I agree. The intentions of an artist may be one thing, but what someone gets from it may be something completely different. Just take the religious context out and you could feel some kind of wa about his words. He's a great lyricist, so counting him out just cuz you arent religious like him is a desservice to him and you, as a listener.

Memphis May Fire in my opinon is one of the greatest bands now. There in the top 3 and the new music their putting out means alot. All their songs have meaning and its the shit. Props to proving them wrong.
