Hell yes I will be, I’m seeing this film with my dad at my local AMC theaters this weekend and I kind of got the sad and tragic angle from the trailers but, not so much the terrifying angle but, hopefully the film itself gives more context and actually makes it at least creepy as I don’t tend to get terrified by movies it takes a lot to get me to that point personally
I think this movie hits harder if you’ve experienced generational trauma. Indeed it is very emotional, but wouldn’t call it scary. Sad, and tragic and devastating is an accurate description.
Thank you for taking the time to make this review. Went to see it w my sons the night it came out and we all absolutely enjoyed it!! There could have been a bit more lore behind the relationships amongst all the characters that left me wanting to learn more or be able to connect w the characters BUT...man oh man we were on the edge of our seats the ENTIRE movie! The director and Blumhouse wasted no time bc it was intense from beginning to end. The camera work, both perspectives, the old school transformation (although I would have wanted even more with the face- especially the nose lol), the colors, all the nature making it spookier, the sounds and not to mention the movie's music score!!! We watched it XQ so it was more insane! We want to see it again and we want more positive reviews w spoilers as well as explorations/discussions of many of the scenes bc my sons and I had lots to say about it! This director is definitely a master artist at his work!
I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed it as well!! I truly had a lot of fun - and was surprised to find myself crying at the end. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Nah, you forced it. This movie is underwhelming and the characters are kind of dumb and you don't really care about them. The transformation is half assed and the gory is kind of unnecessary. This movie is a flop
Tessa I think you're the one who praised this film the most and I'm encouraged because I want it to heart-touching and meaningful along with beautiful character development and sound design - which you praised these aspects too! Thank you. I'm going to see it next week 😇
What is this woman going on about? Is She's being paid for this ? The movie was at best just below mediocre and by the numbers. Has she never seen a good werewolf movie? How about hammers curse of the werewolf? That was a movie with a lot of EMOTIONS in it, if that what she needs since she said EMOTIONS about three or four times.
Ok, first of all. Rude. You can respect my opinion just as I respect everyone else's opinions. This movie hit hard for me having seen relatives and loved ones lose themselves to diseases in front of me. As a working mother who is constantly struggling with the balance of work and spending time with my daughters, I can relate to Charlotte. For me, this movie hit hard and I found myself crying several times. I am sorry that you did not enjoy it, but please do not come at me for my opinions and detailing how I connected to the film.
I just saw the movie and also really liked it. This comment is honestly in poor taste. This is her opinion so if you don't like it just move on, no need to be nasty. I love seeing people get excited about cinema so this review was great.
@@MamasGeeky 💯💯💯 !!! It hit me hard due to life experiences as well. I think this is going to be a recurring theme with reviews. Either you get it (because you’ve been through family trauma) or you don’t (because you’re anticipating a gory horror movie).
Will you be watching Wolf Man on the big screen this weekend?
Yes and yes 🐺

@@Asantana120 Wolfman 2025 is officially the Worst Werewolf movie of January 2025!!! Biggest Box office Flops!!! In Werewolf horror cinema history!!!
Hello, Tessa. This movie was insanely boring and half baked. The 1941 movie is a masterpiece, and this one shouldn't exist.😴😴
TERRANCE OUT
I highly recommend you watch Dog Soldiers!
I agree, it’s a great start to 2025! Loved the atmosphere, tone, and overall vibe! Hit 700 subs on my review channel today!
