I’m so upset that Webster Hall closed. I know it’s being remodeled but that place was amazing. I loved it there and it’s just another of a beautiful past I miss very much. It feels like you can’t hold onto anything that made you who you are anymore. I guess that’s what it means to get older. Still...sigh.
Drewcilla, you're bad ass for filming this, girl! Reminds me of the raves I went to back in the day. And, I went to those things completely sober! Chemicals make me pukey, and I abhor being pukey. I just wanted to dance and dress up. My sobriety would creep club-goers out so when people would ask, "Are you rolling?" I would lie, and say "yes, oh I'm so high. I just want to touch everything." I have still never done a single "club" drug to this day. I guess that's why I don't have good club stories. :)

For the people who say good he gone is fucked up angle and Michael were good people drugs was involved and a bad situation happened he did he's time for what happened so many talent has past to early over drugs. Drugs are the real killer
At 10 years old 1994 Michael, you were and still are my icon. I have the upmost respect for you and truly know what demons fly around in a mind that’s not sober. I truly adore you as the king of the Club Kids and the sober wonderful man you’ve become.

Michael was definitely a unique one-of-a-kind personality to say the least. Came to the city at a time when you could push the envelope and get away with it. NY was in really rough shape at that time though. Enter Rudy Giuliani who did things like transform the theater district from a "Ladies of the night crack hole" into a corporate playground. Whether you like it or not, it had to happen sooner or later. I can't imagine 1980 Times Square existing in today's world, no way. Along with that, it came crashing down for Michael when Angel was found boxed up and the eccentric personality lost its novelty. That sentiment followed Michael for the rest of his life as he could never recapture any former glory. The Club Kid mentality went to prison with Michael and didn't age well at all. Mainly because, in my opinion, the mentality itself was a bit sociopathic. That said, hopefully Michael has found some kind of peace in the next life because he carried a lot of bad baggage with him in the previous one.
