I bought the grey one (matches my commando 961) and I adore the Dax. 160miles to the gallon, park it anywhere, fits through stationary traffic like nothing I’ve ever ridden . Been riding 38 years and the Dax is up there for fun and use ability. Ok I look like a bear shagging a squirrel but who cares. Also the gear box is so so sensible, I stop at the lights in top, one touch of the gear and I’m in neutral. Genius

This comment made us Both LAUGH! We really want to get our hands on a couple mini bikes for a trip, 160 mpg is very appealing! do you manage to carry stuff on yours, enough for a few days away? do you feel like you are safe and have enough power on A Roads? obviously we would stay away from motorways, we try to do that anyway when possible

Have either of you rode Super Cub 125? I imagine the Dax to have a much more responsive acceleration. There's a company in Australia that makes a little color matched fiberglass faring with acrylic windscreen specifically for the Monkey. It significantly reduces the drag and looks fantastic. Any thoughts on something like that for your Dax? If you're interested in a link to the ausbrilliant manufacturer, I can search it and share. Something I found very interesting about the new Honda Mini motors. In particular, the Super Cub is not only did a gain Cartridge type filter it retainers centrifucal oil spinner. The spinner filtration system is good for twenty to twenty five microns and especially heavy particles. Anyhow, happy trails. Looking forward to any feedback and thoughts you have and further adventures with your Dax. We Wishing you happy and safe travels.

Thanks for the review 👍I fell in love with the DAX and will buy it, even though I'm 6'3 tall.
I don't know how tall you are? I plan on making 2 modifications, possibly 3, to make it more comfortable to drive. How do you feel about it?
    1. The seat from a saddler by 2 inches. pad up. 2. A handlebar riser that is variably adjustable up to 2.5 inches and also allows the angle of the handlebars to be set further forward. Possibly Slightly higher shock absorbers (rear) if that is even necessary.
I think with these changes it should also fit someone 6'3 tall - in terms of the sitting position and also in terms of the foot controls. Honestly, I don't give a damn what I look like on the DAX or what people look at. The main thing is that I have fun driving on the amazing Dax.
