You can easily prevent the headlights of the Sherman from blinding people by attaching a cut-to-size piece of sheet aluminium or sth. similar to the top of the light with double sided tape and bending it downwards so the light cone wont spread above horizontal. Those cans of coconut juice you can get at Thai takeouts have very nice thick metal walls that would be ideal for this.
I love your wheel. I love everything about it. I love what you're doing just enjoying the ride and seeing beautiful scenery. I want to do that to where I'm at in the South. I'm basically jealous right now.
Grab yourself a lightweight camping setup and a rucksack and you will be sorted for all kinds of adventures... Plus as you did on this trip you can easily take trains and buses or other public transport with EUC... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..! 🎁🎅🏻🎄🎉❄️... If you can find a Makerspace you can probably sort out making your own metal shell...
Thanks for the advice! Would love to do a camp/ride across America thing soon! That maker space idea is a good one. I used to do 3d modeling so give me a plasma cutter and we’ll be in business 😀
great video, slowly building up to these long trips. done 30 miles so far and def gonna be exploring these destination trips. lots of new bike paths being finished up here in westchester that are connecting from the city. looking forward to the warm weather and ripping thru them thanx for sharing your escapades and happy holidays brother.
DaYing this was another very entertaining video, and it looked like an awesome ride! Between this and your snow day delivery vid I'm a subscriber. Keep 'em coming 😄
Haha thanks Marty! A helmet mirror would be a great idea for sure. And you’re right! The Sherman’s range is incredible. I could have made it on 1 charge!
awesome trip. I'm watching everything i can find on EUC before taking the jump and i was thinking of doing short trips at first (might pick up a nokila+ over a RS HT for the extra range to learn how to ride) . Out of curiosity, how is it to travel with the two chargers ? Not too heavy in the backpack? It ought to be t least 3-4 pounds each, right?
Nik+ is a good first wheel. 2 chargers are heavy but it’s a must for long range rides. It’s more the amperage than anything else. I think 7 amp alone is good enough for most long range rides but having that extra one just cuts down on the time that much more. Remember also that most wheels can only handle 7amps max.
@@dasshorts7800 Thanks for the info. The way i see it, the Nik+ is a robust, well proven and rounded wheel. A sort of Jack of all trade, sort of capable of doing everything, minus 15-20% of the best in each category. I've been trying to pick up a second hand EUC, but i'm discovering that unless they are either 3+ years old and/or pretty beaten up (i've seen nik+ in very rough shape going for 1500US), good "deals" are pretty rare. Plus, the Nik+ seem to be so liked, most don't want to part with it (duh!).
Apologies for the late response but yes I get about 90 miles on a charge on the Sherman. So I could have made it but I wouldn’t want to risk going too fast past 30%. As is, I charged for about an hour at the inn.
Just added both the seat and the rails in the comments. Had a few people ask me. Figured it would be easier to put it up there for everybody. Have fun riding!
As a mariner the boarder between New York and Jersey is about halfway in-between the two states over the water
Yo!! Thank you so much! Been wondering about this for a while now. Pinning this
I know it's kind of randomly asking but do anybody know of a good website to watch new series online ?
@Gunner Jace lately I have been using flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Zeke Lee definitely, have been watching on FlixZone for years myself =)
@Zeke Lee thank you, signed up and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it!!

Yooo Awesome video bro really enjoyed make more videos like this )
Yup trying to post more stuff. If only life wouldn’t get in the way 😅
Enjoyed the video 👍 You need a helmet mirror 😄
Surprised you needed to charge though based on that short distance
Haha thanks Marty! A helmet mirror would be a great idea for sure. And you’re right! The Sherman’s range is incredible. I could have made it on 1 charge!
Great video~! You'd love it around L.A... Gotta get you out here, man. :)
Agreed! Wanted to come ride out there for a while now. I’ll definitely hit you up when I visit
Man, I’m still learning to ride, hopefully one day I can ride with you. I live in the city as well.
Of course! Ride at your own comfort level man. Better to ride long and slowly build up skill than suffer an injury

Great ending ever...FM should see you video and be scared!
Those onewheels sure are fun but the fun ends way too fast!
Next time I expect an invitation big boy.
Now that Tupac is back, you can bet on it!!
@@dasshorts7800 oh yeah. My Sherman will be here on 12/31.
@@jorgebatista425 definitely get a seat for that bad boy
@@dasshorts7800 already ordered in red.
Did you DIY the sliders or did you buy them?
Bought them on Amazon. Link in description
Impressive distance on the electric unicycle! Could you have made it all the way with one charge? How long were you charging at the halfway break?
Apologies for the late response but yes I get about 90 miles on a charge on the Sherman. So I could have made it but I wouldn’t want to risk going too fast past 30%. As is, I charged for about an hour at the inn.
Where can i buy those rail guards/sliders?

What tyre pressure do you run?
When I made this vid, I believe 35 psi, but now I run 48
No invite?
Haha 😂 next time for sure!! Get your monster ready
