Al is too pure for this world. I admire what he did at the end. He wants to persuade them peacefully and not extort them

the timmy/jimmy fight is a reference to the movie "they live" where the two main characters have a gritty and long fist fight because rodney piper is trying to get his counterpart to wear a pair of sunglasses he doesnt want to wear.

I don't think the scout leaders knew who the child molester really was

A lot of the time I watch this show and when it gets to the message at the end I'm impressed at how it got there. This is one of the few episodes, as entertaining as it was, where I thought they missed the point. But apparently it was actually based on a real case of a gay man being fired from scouts.
Also, Marc, the piano player at Big Gay Al's house, was actually voiced by Marc Shaiman, the composer for Bigger, Longer and Uncut.

I'm going to call a spade a spade and say that its the parents fault that their kids were in that situation with the new counselor. They fired Big Gay Al because they didn't want their kids to be gay and/or get attacked by him even though he's obviously a good guy and made their kids feel like they couldn't tell them the truth

Ohhhh yeah the really weird episode that's like, totally pro-lgbt in its message until the very end, where they spout some bullshit about the freedom to be bigoted and discriminatory in your hiring process.
Also, the fight scene is a blow-for-blow recreation of a fight scene from They Live, an 80s sci-fi. Not sure why; didn't know that when I first watched it, still was hilarious.
