Me too- I just bought a new Life Application Study Bible in large print,and it's so much easier to read!The text and notes are both larger than the original.I got the King James Version in pink leather like cover,matching pink foil tabs, and a pink floral cover (obviously my favorite color!).
😍 Love this! I have a suggestion about the tabs. If you take a clear piece of tape and run it long ways down the side of your tab where it grips the page, it will make the attached section larger and make it a little less likely to tear.

The passion translation was written by one man Only,no scholars helped with that book. The writer of the Passion translation said that Jesus revealed to him an extra chapter of John, so he's writing John chapter 22, terrible.

I just wanted to let you know that with the newer bibles, “comfort print” refers to the font and not the text size. I think if you should make sure there’s “large print” in the names, or you can usually check the descriptions of the listings which will usually list the font size. I hope this helps!
I get you totally. I ordered a Jesus bible and loved it but the print was so tiny and light that I honestly couldn’t deal with it after a while. Small print I can do, but small and light? Not happening.
The tabs that I use that don't rip the pages are the Versefinder tabs. they come in Horizontal and Vertical format. I use the Horizontal because then I don't have to turn my bible to the side to find what I need. They also come in lots of colors

Just be extremely careful with the passion translation. It was translated by one man. Just vote it as a commentary and not Scripture. There's some very questionable and unbiblical things in it.
I started a the beginning of spring and I got 30 or more bibles I go to the thrift store and they almost brand new one having fun collecting them

Lining the edge of the page with washi help prevent tabs from ripping out. I put one piece half on the front and fold it over, so it lasts 😊
