Hyunjin said on bubble that he cried after the performance video came out. He said that his self esteem has been 0 lately and that its been really hard for him (I'm assuming because of the hiatus and all) but that the Skz members, Stays and his family are what kept him going. He said that he didn't want to open up to us about having a hard time at first, but we keep raising him up so he feels thankful to Stays, the Skz members and his family. He said lately he's become a person who can't do anything without Skz and Stays.. My Hyune who has been through so much this year. I'm just so incredibly proud of him 😭
Thank you for writing a comment about this since i didn't know about bubble and the things they post there. I'm a new stay(i've started paying attention to skz for the last two months) and even though i had been aware of skz and their most iconic songs and their participation in kingdom i knew nothing about Hyunjin's hiatus(i remember Woojin's scandal though when it happened and i only learned about his innocence now that i did my research on the group). After watching guides, their channel, vlives and countless compilations i became especially fond of Hyunjin and i went through an emotional roller coaster because of him and the other boys. And i have been wondering about Hyunjin's mental and emotional wellbeing since his return. I'm happy that he has so many people he can rely on, but it seems that he needs a bit more time in order to heal.

Stray Kids are pretty attached to each other and are one of the closest groups I know. And Hyunjin's always been extremely passionate about performing. Being away from the kids, being unable to interact with his fans and being unable to perform for 4 MONTHS was probably extremely stressful for him. Not to mention the stress he must have been under because of the kind of rumours that could end his career (which were proven false and exaggerated btw). We knew he would have a hard time but I think this is the first time he actually opened up about it. I believe that with time, Hyunjin will be able to heal from everything that happened but it was a pretty stressful time for Skz and Stays.

This man can sing, rap, dance, draw and paint, write lyrics, compose and choreograph. Artist to the bone. He owned this performance and killed me. And he made me cry with his bubble messages also. Hwang Hyunjin is super talented and no one can tell me otherwise. His dancing got me into Stray Kids and I'm happy I stan these talented men. One of the best dancers in the whole of Kpop in my opinion. Tge way he expresses the song with his movements and face is unbelievable. I can watch him dance all day, everyday. Seriously though, I could feel your energy all the way over here. It was really nice to see someone just have an honest, open and intense reaction to something that truly is breathtaking. What can I say, it simply made me happy to see someone be affected by something, anything, that was truly deserving of the raw emotions of another person.

Hwang Hyunjin (황현진) deserves the praise being given to him. He has worked so hard since the beginning of joining Stray kids with very little experience. He continues to work hard and improve his dancing skillset. And it shows!!!
I'm so thrilled that Bang Chan chose him to be a part of Stray Kids.
By the way, how do they keep 'topping' their last performances? Well, Stray Kids tenaciously keep their standards in stages, High. They expect so much of themselves and fight to give us (Stay) all that they can. And bless them for each, each and every one of these 8 young men for their efforts.

Groundbreaking ... Yes, I think at the core that's what I really like about SKZ and Hyunjin. Their passion for their craft that they break new grounds. This is also the reason why I was so scared during Hyunjin's hiatus, that I would be cheated from seeing the beautiful things he could bring and contribute to dance and performing. That kind of love and passion to dance could only being beautiful things. I can only be grateful for the gift that is Hwang Hyunjin. 💙💙💙
