    I really enjoyed that video.
I was born in London decades ago but have lived in East Anglia, about 60 miles away ,for most of that time .
I travel vicariously through experiences like yours and am pleased to see how you show all sides of the London experience ,food ,architecture and transport

Hey, you started you vlog in Mitre St, which leads into Mitre Sq. I wonder if you know who’s world infamous grisly footsteps you were tracing..

Was this Jack the Ripper’s territory? 😬 I know we were close to whitechapel!

    • @andrewdoubtfire4700

@@MaxandSidney it sure is. Mitre Sq was the scene of the murder of Catherine Eddowes on the 30th September 1888. It is the last location of a Ripper murder left undeveloped. Up until fairly recently the majority of the square was as it was, just with new buildings. Quite likely Jack made his escape up Mitre St. spooky when you think about it.

Greenwich Meriden doesn't just cut through Greenwich it is where the world's time zones first started back in the 1880's and Greenwich is '0'.
England and France had a bit of an argument as to which country was going to be where the line of '0' was, obviously England won!
All time zones up till 1972 worked on this Meriden. Its still official in Britain in the winter, parts of Africa, Europe and Iceland today. But the '0' line is still where time zones are measured from. Everything is either 12 hours in front or 12 hours behind of Greenwich Meriden.

Such a cool thing to be able to claim! The center of time! We really enjoyed Greenwich, very cool neighborhood!

Awesome video!👍🏻 Are train rides in the city expensive? I am going to the Harry Potter Studios soon but I can‘t find much information online.

You can take the overground all the way to Watford and it’s very cheap! It takes about an hour though. There are faster options that are more expensive. In general, the train prices in the city aren’t too bad, especially off peak hours
