- In fact we didn't finish that night, Barry had to come back the next afternoon to do the two small paddocks while I followed my father around the Berkeley show..... You will see that in the next video.

There is so much simple joy following a thousand years instinct it's nearly worth it to sacrifie a bale sometimes to let them cut loose. Ian, you are still a great cattle herdsman. You know your cattle all too well. With all your concern for months, you are blessed with a great hay crop.
Some good bales there and plenty too 😊
Funny how nature has a way of balancing things. Last year everyone was short of fodder, loads of rain since October and now a glut of quality Hay and Silage.
Hopefully it will bring prices down 👏
Ian your animals certainly have the best life with you which makes it even harder when the calves get ill.
Wish I had that many in the barn 😁😆🤦♂
Oh no! P is counting again.
123469 101 😄😄👍🏼😁
Well it slides in nicely ,this one is stiffer and penetrates only 2 “ .
@@grahamburns3091 The Viagra hay scale
Fun to watch the silly cows talk to you and enjoy a free bale for fun .
I happy bellowing to you .
Enjoying the inspection of the hay .too .
The way people are better to be safe than sorry with bales . We city people just don't think , like this is good for the meat we eat . AND think every thing is a play ground . Even so we need to go back to respect. If it doesn't belong to you don't touch it , keep it clean , pick up your trash and dog crap .
You Farmers have other things to contend with like badgers . Don't apologize keep teaching us .
Thankyou for the vidios .
Excellent update! Great number of bales so far! Always a pleasure to see such happy Dexters!!
Another great video mr. P. Nice to see some bales on the ground 🦌🦌👍👍👍
200 bales before t’other farm. That a bit of all right.
Pigeon Meade may be rutted from rain, but you should see the right mess of Tom P’s fields.
Evening Ian just replying to the part of your video about bales on paths.my friend John had round bale hay last year by a foot path by the River stour teen-agers thought it would be fun to push some bales in the river court by John
😊 Now this year he decided to chop grass those teens we're back again they had a nice shower of grass.😅😅😅.
To some, our place of work is nothing more than a park or play area.
Hi Ian, moving the bales will keep em away from dogs marking them, not that I know if that would harm them. But I would not fancy munching one if they had.
I've worn Croc's for so long I can't wear shoes with backs in then, without my heals blistering. I have to toughen em up before my UK trips. Ashville transport lost a contract when one of their drivers got out of his cab on site.
It is food for the cattle so it has a value. So walkers leaf them alone. We don't play with your food.. (,ow wait we farmers have fun making peoples food)
Counting bales 51 or 52 has got to be easier than counting cows 19 or 20 😂
A very good Wednesday evening to you all
🎉🎉 Check Rufus the bull,he plays with a bail, ball with his his owner does pretty good impressio of strongest man pushing farmers truck even downhill once 😊
Good morning Farmer P, nice video!!!!!😉👌👍💪

Great video Ian well at least it was dry for you ❤

Think the saying you were looking for was , like a knife through butter, when you were lifting the bales 👌
Um 🤭 Close enough 😄😇
Hello Farmer P 🙂.
That looks like a bovine delegation at your gate and they are not mincing their words either 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂😅. What a noise. 😲. You better move your ass Farmer P. before the neighbours start complaining.
Wow ! They sure made short work of that bale in the barn. Great fun to watch 😂.
Lovely video of the cattle, Farmer P 👍👌. Most enjoyable. Made my day 😄.

Now, are you sure as we know your counting is a bit off at times especially counting young stock 😂😂😂
Hi Ian, just watching you driving the mustang across pigeon mede, if you had longer hair, I'd have sworn you were at a Status Quo concert!!! Ha!😅
😄😄
👍👍👍🇮🇪
Great to hear about the amount of bales. We hartly use round bales, just curious how they compare sizewise to big square bales of 120x70x180cm or 300kg (if hay). We had about 25 of those per hectare the other week. Also well pleased with 😊
Round bale hay bales will usually fall around the 250-270kg mark at 15% moisture, on a good day we can get 8 -9 to the acre. 🙂👍🏼The bottom two fields this year, 14 acres = 101 bales.
😀
Have they got a scratching brush
🚜🐄👍🏻👍🏻😃🐄🐄👍🏻👍🏻🚜
Farmer p you really need to sort out your shoe situation they have to go
When are you putting a bull in?
Hot knife, though butter

The children are impatient, and after you feed them they will be ungrateful, just like teenagers!
Are you sure you have 51 or 52 bales
Are you sure there is 20 bales
