Same here. I was looking at both Ghana and Rwanda, but Rwanda beats the pants down Ghana. It's much more cleaner, and thanks to Lady Visionary, and the Unapologetic nomads, this is the country to move to.

having been living in rwanda which is by far an excellent place to live ( 6 years on now...) i am still not convinced as an expat of the investment potential in real estate ... when i came to rwanda in 2015 the $ was 575 rwf ..if i had bought a house for 70000 $ or 120 million rwf with the current rwf close at 1000 rwf ( currency depreciation) it would be difficult to get a good price ( supply is way above demand ) the best investments in rwanda are mid tier houses or apartments between 40 to 50 thousand $ ..that is where one can earn ...bigger houses are fancy

I understand your meaning. FYI: The cities of Wilmington, Greenville, and Rosewood were built with hard work, creativity and goal setting. Wilmington was overthrown by whites in the 1800s. The whites resented the economic success of the formerly enslaved. Blacks were told to leave. Those who didn't were shot. Rosewood and Greenville were simply burnt to the ground since they were 100% populated by former slaves. Whites weren't willing to burn down Wilmington because too many white folks were livin' there.
The last successful black community burnt to the ground was a community in Philadelphia around 1985. The firemen stood by and watched it burn as city police in helicopters dropped incendiary devices on private homes. I guarantee you they would burn Atlanta Georgia if they could. I'll also telll you there are communities in America where blacks are doing EXTREMELY WELL ....BUT just like success in Africa is not "news" ... neither is anything SUCCESSFUL we do here in America. In American news Africa is an untamed country of starving children and their clueless parents 🙄. But I NEVER BELIEVED THAT.

Did he quote you a price for that first room in American dollars or Rwandan Francs? And why is the room rate double for tourists?
Prices quoted in USD. I believe he lessen the price for Rwandans so that can also come to experience the place. The average salary for Rwandans is about 150 USD a month.
