Pile #2: he’s a meth addict that thinks he’s a billionaire along with other things but I took care of him and did everything for him. I learned my lesson and know he won’t change. He has no interest in getting clean because he doesn’t see a problem. I didn’t treat him the way the others do because despite all the lying and cheating, I left with love. I met him in the gym which is the field of work we are both in. I gained over 60lbs due to unhealed emotional stuff but now have lost about half of the 60lbs.

Pile 3. I had to cut off a friend (female) that is part of a group of friends. I'm asking about one person from the group (male) who I didn't think would be open to suggestion against me. I cut her off because she was manipulative and unkind and just never changed, but she doesn't show that side to everyone (she always plays the victim in her many friendship blow-outs and all the drama she gets entrenched in). This is easier said than done, but precisely because it is hard, once you're on the other side of it and you can see your work grow and multiply, you realize how little anyone who isn't aligned with your direction and interests really can contribute - nothing. Absolutely nothing. If the person isn't acting towards me like a puppy would towards someone the puppy really likes, I immediately drop them - I feel deep in my core, that we're going nowhere.
Maybe you can learn from my mistakes. Maybe you have to experience them. I know I had to, because I respect no one's experience, other than my own. If you're the former or the latter type of learner, isn't your choice. If you can do the former, good - start right away. If not, then know that the latter is a much harder path, but the lessons become you and stay forever. They are engraved in my heart, like canyons, formed from countless wounds and scars, melded into one river bed, guiding the flow of my every action. Learning from own mistakes is hard, but it will give you certainty. So, if you're the latter type, go ahead and rip the heart to shreds, while you push your own agenda throughout all of it.
