Es una ola que se puede correr casi todo el año, gracias a su consistencia. Pero si quieres conocer su carácter épico, debes visitarla entre marzo y agosto, cuando llegan a El Salvador los oleajes producidos por las tormentas en el océano pacífico sur.
The wave of Punta Roca or "La Punta"
As the local surfers call it, it breaks to the right on a rocky bed and is considered by experts as one of the 10 best places in the world for surfing. In fact, professional surfers who ride it compare it to the famous wave at Jeffreys Bay in South Africa, with the added attraction of its warm water, making wetsuits unnecessary.
