Michael Pisani Thanks. That photo was taken when I was 10. My dad was scolded by a guard for using a flash camera so that’s the only one I have. I went skating at least once a week there well into my 20s and every so often after that. I was sad to see it close for good. That place was the best.
Great skating rink 😁. When u r in PHX/mesa. Az. Go to ,,,organ stop pizza ,,,,. It has a wall size pipe organ,, live music,. Good food,. Before covid. Tour buses would fill the parking lot.
I had many good times there in the late 60s. I seem to recall there was a automated stuffed animal or two up in the gallery that looked like they were playing instruments?
When I was small and my sister too we would go to the roller rinks they had an organ there and a woman that will stand next to the organ player and sing then came in the records 8tracks cassettes CDs they would do the whip chicken dance Hokey Pokey and a snake
Oh the memories! 1950 We have one rank of pipes from this organ at Blackwood, Harrisville, Pennsylvania.

Frank Kolton I don’t recall that at all. I spent many Friday nights and Saturday nights at the Hub.
I used to put the skates on the shoe and fixed the wheels. Back in the sixty the good old days.
