I'm 19 years old, it's my first year at the university, and for the first time since the first ultimate team, I'm seriously feeling that the game drags me back. In the begining I tried to play as much as I could (I never used nor I will ever use points), just like every year, so I could reach by some point and play some satisfactory football. But that never happened. The other players I competed against always had slightly better teams, which makes a HUGE impact this year. By January, I found myself struggling to keep up, and as I stopped playing much for a month, so I could finish with my exams, things got worse. When I got back, my team's performance was a practical joke! The same players I had played crappy football, so I started collapsing in divisions. My gameplay didn't make a difference, because however I played, my team seemed to not knowing how to get some basic shit done. No one could defend, no one could make a decent pass, no one could shoot. So, after basically 10 YEARS of playing online, I decided that I would not ruin my childhood memories of this game any further, watching it become a total abomination. So I quit playing alone, I only play friendlies or offline with friends, and for the first time in many years, I seriously doubt that I will buy the next FIFA. Screw you EA, screw you and your microtransactions. And shame to all the players, who keep throwing hundrends of dollars on this game, because, in the end, it is YOU who put the final nail in the coffin of FIFA's downfall. Please, buy the game if you want, but for the love of God, stop funding Ultimate team, it DOESN'T WORTH IT. Thanks to anyone who decide to give me a moment of his time to express my frustration and concerns about this game. Let's fight for a better gaming universe, where companies respect us at last!

Bro, it sounds like this game is seriously frustrating you, and that’s not healthy while you’ve got stressful things such as exams going on. I’ve been there and done it five years ago when I was at uni. I’ve still got a lot to learn now but I can tell you this - take a break from the video games and look for a new hobby such as boxing or running or lifting, all massive stress relievers and they all help to keep your head clear. Much better than spending your time playing against sweaties who spend their Mum’s money on FIFA points.
I only play FUT every year for FUTTIES and that's it, and even then my FIFA record has slumped every year. On FIFA 17 I had some Bundesliga IFs and a TOTS Fabian at striker and I'd win 60% of games, I could compete against legends and stuff, even though I played against them rarely. On FIFA 18 the game was shit and dead but then FUTTIES brought it back to life as there were cheap high rated cards that were mostly usable (I ztill won 45% of my gams at least) Nowadays even a card with 80 on every stat is rubbish, and packing good cards is no longer special, and just last year I lost NINE DIV 8 RIVALS GAMES IN A ROW with a good team, and even though I'm not brilliant at the game, I played well in some matches and still got battered by the likes of Son, Mbappe, Neymar etc. On FIFA 16, having 100,000 coins was massive, now I have 1.8 million coins and it feels like jackshit. The gampelay has also caused good cards to be worth nothing, which explains why a 96 rated TOTY Allison is worth like 150k and not like 1 million.
That's the main problem or at least a part of it basically the to player are really not the only ones trying to decide the outcome of the game. It's sad that more people haven't noticed.
I don't even understand why people ever played ultimate team. I'm not going to put all that time much less money to just get to a team that's half playable. If everyone would just move to seasons and pro clubs all the problems would be fixed.
For me, Pro Clubs is the only fun game mode this year because even though the gameplay is just as crap as ultimate team, it’s with your friends and you don’t care as much!

Fifa13 for me... When the online team play mode went missing it kind of got boring... Pro clubs is not the same with only 1 person allowed to pick any as position
fifa 17 was still very fun and it wasn’t that bad of a game. fut champs was more about skill and you had to genuinely be decent at the game to compete. using butland and begovic was fun musa was fun and all those players would make the game enjoyable to play. people would genuinely get excited when they got informs and tots even when they weren’t amazing ones and getting 190 drafts was amazing and difficult now every game mode is just the same boring teams with the stupid players like ben yedder or whatever it’s just not the type of game u play when you want to have fun

Players OVR stats and condition : PES = Pretty much accurate and make sense with an actual players in term of current performance, stats and condition are in real life.. Legend/Top players are not too OP with beastly and insane stats that could grant you a 'W' with their top notch performances in every single match endlessly.. Still a human be like which has up and down situations and condition sometimes, so it'll less predictable tho.. FIFA = Icon/Special card players OVR stats are considered not human at all, they are way too OP until the regular top player like messi, cr7 etc look suck nothing more than a trash if comparing to them also players doesn't get any match suspended at all if they have been booked for committing a foul, so it won't effecting the team Ovr and chem at all.. IK it's just a basic rules in football but it can give very huge impact to the whole team tbh...
@@matthewchris5801 If you would play it on PC or PS4 than you can get a patch that fixes the licenses, some things could seam weird but you can customize almost everything so its good. Search on youtube Spoony Pizzas and KnightMD they do tutorials and explain the gameplay
EA really needs to watch this vid and realize why Fifa used to be great back in the day. They really need to change their greedy mindset if they want the old playerbase back. If they move on like this Fifa is going to die out sooner then they expect.
Nothing’s gonna happen I’m afraid, the people working for the company do the bare minimum to earn a pay check at the end of every week/month so they can support themselves and their families. This isn’t going to change because people dislike the game because it doesn’t mean anything to the workers, they couldn’t care less how the game goes, they just saw an opportunity at a huge company that, by the way, pays about 70 quid an hour that will help them and their families live their best lives. They don’t care about how the game is perceived by the masses because the company is safe in the knowledge that Castro and Bateson and others are splashing all their earnings onto packs to in turn make a profit from streaming and TH-cam. Business is business so people like us with 0 influence in the company can do fuck all to change this

I always enjoyed the world cup modes because they were the most casual friendly mode. World Cup was literally play a game get a pack. It was fun to grind and get your favorite players in the tournament while just playing with friends or playing casually. You could build an ultimate team without burning a hole in your pocket.

I’ve played Fifa since Fifa 12 and I haven’t fully enjoyed it since Fifa 17. stats matter to much now I used to stay around div 7-8 with an average team that costs like 30K I’ve been in div 10 more or less all year with a much better team that cost me like 125+k
I think the introduction of SBCs and untradeable players completely fucked up the game even further, as it made the market a complete mess and once again was just forcing players to buy packs in order to actually complete the SBCs to then get a green Hazard with +2 shooting or a shite 35k pack in return...
Fifa is so unenjoyable now, ea make certain players more powerful than others to sell packs and get money, and making it so you have to have coins which is what ruins the game for people like me, I’m in div 10 and currently 1-5 in champs because my teams to bad and I’ve barely spent money on the game, compared to my friends who spend £100+ on fifa get sick players from the coins they gain and get elite every week. I wish fifa could just be how it used to be
I'm here 6 months later but I can honestly say the biggest problem is meta players. Rating is a good measurement of a players ability in real life but in fifa a 91 kdb for example is worse than Ben yedder because 1 is meta. It kills squad variation and the whole idea of ratings
The 30 games system doesn’t work it causes too much stress and sweat. What they should do is a mixture of rivals and champs. U get unlimited matches and u can play as many or few as u want. Then ur rank is decided based on ur win percentage. “But walrus, won’t people just win their first game and then stop for 100%?” I hear u ask. This is where the rivals points system comes in. The more matches u play the higher this score is, just like rivals, whether u win or lose ur points go up. This acts like goal difference in real life leagues. Also objectives should be done in friendlies which increases the amount of people playing friendlies and offers a casual game mode which, although has less rewards, isn’t pointless because of objectives. Sorry about the essay, I got carried away.
I actually hate Rivals. Prefer Weekend League by miles. I used to only play Rivals cus i wasnt good but as soon as i started getting silver 1/gold 3 i stopped playing rivals.

I remember back in FIFA 13, I had so much money but I refused to change my front 3 (Gervinho, Podolski, Ben Arfa). I could've gotten anyone I wanted but I played so well with these player and it was so FUN to play with them and I would obliterate opponents. Those were the best days of FIFA, I stopped last year, my heart wasn't in it anymore.
True. Honestly my favorite thing from FUT was trading. After they implemented price ranges, it killed it for me. I also enjoyed making wacky teams and beating people with TOTS try hard teams. Can’t do that anymore, my skill can’t close the gap anymore. The game is extremely watered down in order to boost the lowest denominator.

You’re absolutely right. There was a big swing in being able to compete with a low value team after FIFA 15. Suddenly as someone who doesn’t buy packs I went from winning 9/10 to winning 1 or 2 /10.
i remember my Friend back in FIFA 13-14 would use business tactics like buy alot of 1 player and sell for more. EA just made the simple fix. price ranges. I do believe that youtubers had a big part to play in getting people to buy packs. like how a news company could "big up" their reaction to make it seem like a million bucks
I was a two decade long fifa player but I quit playing a couple years ago when the entire game became centered around FUT and microtransactions. And I'm not interested in that so it basically just became the same repetitive simulation game over and over again. And eventually that just gets boring. Gonna reach that point soon with madden unfortunately

Perfectly put Vizeh! The fact you have to grind out 30 games EVERY weekend just to try and 'catch up' to compete is a joke. My best experience of Ultimate Team was FIFA 18 World Cup, was great fun, pack weight was good and whether you win or lose it wouldn't ruin your day.

Total respect for you guys coming out with vids like these, the mental health problems that this game causes is becoming a major problem aswell. That can be attributed to the cut throat competitive nature that has infected Fifa. I used to love Fifa and making videos about it, but they are few and far between now. They need a casual tournament mode with NO custom tactics, like old school football games just pick the players and formation and go at it, no 1 depth, no park the bus , no fullbacks on stay back while attacking!!! Just a mode you can have a few fun casual games on, thats all i want. But sadly it will never happen as greed outweighs ethics at EA, and unfortunately like most companies these days!

This is my first year playing fut and I'm stuck at division 10 since i started, not because im trash (i mean i am, but not div 10 trash) But because every single game ea shits on me and every goal my opponent scores is bullshit. from passes that don't go the same way and from tackles that im timing very well but somehow it always goes back to them, to giving my opponent a pen after not only that i didn't touch him and didn't press tackle, i already cleared the ball to the second half of the pitch and then the ref decided to give a pen. Btw my team is Very good as well, but even if i had moments r9 and eusebio and maldini and every single icon moments in the game i would've somehow lose the game 0-1 from a goal in the 96th minute having only +2 extra time, and i will probably have like 46 shots and 40 on target and all the 6 that aren't on target are shots that hit the post/bar Edit: managed to scrape a 3-3 draw from 3-1 to him. One goal he scored was a fucking bicycle kick in fifa 20, while when i crossed it to 6'2 moments trezeguet when he was a meter of the goal he of course put it wide. Second was a rebound, third was a wrong pass my keeper did. Statistics: 55% possession against 45%, 16 shots 9 on target against 8 shots 5 on target. Oh and also i hit the post great game

Was elite 1 in Ultimate Team last year, played a little bit this year and decided to stop ultimate team. It feels like work because so many teams are stacked and you feel like you have to keep up. Now I just mainly play pro clubs with the boys, and honestly its just fun to play. No more grinding for packs, just to get a 82 overall or spending hours doing an SBC that everyone already has. Now it's juts chatting with your lads and playing pro clubs. Fifa is meant to be fun, just like the beautiful game. If you decide to leave Ultimate Team, could be worthwhile
In my early fifties and have been playing games since the early 80's. I still play this, god only knows why? It has helped create quite possibly the most toxic community within in gaming ever. You lose, you get abuse, you win, you get abuse. I don't put money in to it and I don't play every day. I can remember when games were just that, games, you enjoyed them. FIFA 20 is an abomination. The greed of EA has been the simplest form of destruction for this franchise. Too many areas of the game were and still are, broken, and unfortunately those who noticed what was broken and spoke up about it have always been labelled poor players by those who continue to accept substandard products, the toxic players, the ones who refuse to point to a broken game for wins or losses when the AI is clearly awol. It's a pity it's gotten to this in many ways but this does need to be highlighted.

Bang on mate. You read what I said in your stream last week when you were talking of the same subject (that stream was as good as this video too). I get to play the game maybe a few hours during the week and a few hours late on weekend evenings. That's simply not enough time for EA to allow me to compete properly. Past years I've been between Div 3 and 5 in Rivals, got to Div 2 and almost Div 1 before Rivals was around. This year, I've not got higher than Div 8. We all know why, the rewards down there are still pretty decent and the main thing - objectives. I want to unlock some of the objective cards (especially TOTS ones). I had a week off a few weeks back, spent the whole week trying to get Jimenez and Perez, I got them in the end, but it took the whole week. The whole concept of Rivals was to play against players of the same skill level which makes sense, I love a game of FIFA where you're both going right until the end with something to play for. Unfortunately, from division 7-10 you either win 6-0 or lose 6-0, it is dead. You either come up against a decent player who has deliberately relegated themselves to earn the objectives easily (then go on to brag about it) or someone who actually has a skill level of 50 and is therefore pretty damn bad at the game. Its boring either way. Then you get FUT Champions, I've always been between Gold 2 and Silver 1, not great, I'd probably be better if it didnt take 40+ Rivals wins and around 3 months to qualify in the first place, right from the start I'm playing catch up. Then after all that, this weekend, I had 6 DC's (all counted as losses, even those from winning positions) and I didnt even get 11 wins to re-qualify, now I have to consider whether it's worth spending a month and a half trying to qualify again when the game will be 100% dead anyway. The answer is of course no. Ill stick to watching you and others go through the pain of the Weekend League for the remainder. Keep up the good work on stream mate! I'm subbing over there when we finally get paid 👍
Closing the gap? Only fifa’s licences are better. PES gameplay has been better than fifa for years. Graphics are better. Movement is waaaaay better. Players are unique. You can’t do the same with every player, like in fifa. Everything, expect licences and the design of the menus is better in pes.

I agree with pretty much everything u said. It’s all about putting time into the game in order to be good. My brother has not played FIFA since FIFA 18 when the gameplay became slow and more breaking people down. It’s all about 4-5-1 fut champs teams now with a Ligue one attack force linking and essien in the middle to a la liga defense.
Honestly back in fifa 15 or before the game was so fun, just messing around on the game, FUT champs killed the game, a great idea but the game got so serious and sweaty

I hope ea realises how many players are not playing and make fifa 21 more enjoyable for us casual players because I can say for myself that I don’t not enjoy fifa anymore but I know I will still get fifa 21 because I’m a football fan but it just shows how it’s changed because in fifa 16 which imo was the last I enjoyed properly I played nearly 1000 games( while getting it at Christmas that year) and each year since I’ve just played less and less and this year I have only played 220 games and I got it 2 weeks after release
I started playing and grinding in december and started playing in november. I have played an hour Max average per day. I have a sick team and have not had more than 300k at once. IT is possible to Get a great team IT just takes patience

Nice video it really speaks on behalf of those who suffer playing this game. I love football and I love fifa. But past 3 years I’ve spent so much money on FUT (more than your average) that I feel a sense of entitlement to be good. It’s not how it works unfortunately due to clunky mechanics and shit servers and me basically not being good enough.
Everything you said was bang on. I think the thing with PES not being a competitor is the fact that it lacks licensing and UT. Without them it can't compete. The game play looks more like a real life game of football than FIFA (possibly a bad thing with how slow some games can be) and tbh the faces look more realistic. It just lacks FIFA's 2 main USPs FM will never compete as it's too in depth for the normal person and you can't control 1 player. You tell the team how to play and you have to pay more attention to the game
What pisses me off is I can't even play with my favourite players as a casual. I'll never have enough coins to buy Zidane or Ronaldo etc. Throughout the whole life of the game, not just the first few months

@vizeh - Here's one for you. Been posting on FIFA forums for some time regarding the state of the game, when there's any issues etc. Whenever you post a message to a community manager of moderater they never respond, and I mean never. The only time they do respond is to either ban you because you've spoke about the game in a negative way or to close down threads. One of the threads that actually got closed down was a mental thread, which if you ask me is pretty sickening. It was basically a civilized discussion between forum users on whether they believe FIFA can contribute towards mental health issue, addiction, gambling etc. Safe to say it last about a day before it got shut down by moderaters and was the ky time I've seen them. They also banned me 3 times (Twice for talking about DDA and a third time for discussing the way the moderators do things. I basically called them out saying they don't care and instead of responding they banned me. If this doesn't tell you all you need to know about EA then I don't know what will. I'm done with FIFA, EA don't deserve our money and customers should not be treated like this. I feel lkke yourself and other content creators are our only voice so please keep this up, you are helping this community out so much! Much love

My gameplay didn't make a difference, because however I played, my team seemed to not knowing how to get some basic shit done. No one could defend, no one could make a decent pass, no one could shoot. So, after basically 10 YEARS of playing online, I decided that I would not ruin my childhood memories of this game any further, watching it become a total abomination. So I quit playing alone, I only play friendlies or offline with friends, and for the first time in many years, I seriously doubt that I will buy the next FIFA. Screw you EA, screw you and your microtransactions. And shame to all the players, who keep throwing hundrends of dollars on this game, because, in the end, it is YOU who put the final nail in the coffin of FIFA's downfall. Please, buy the game if you want, but for the love of God, stop funding Ultimate team, it DOESN'T WORTH IT.

Bro, it sounds like this game is seriously frustrating you, and that’s not healthy while you’ve got stressful things such as exams going on.
I’ve been there and done it five years ago when I was at uni. I’ve still got a lot to learn now but I can tell you this - take a break from the video games and look for a new hobby such as boxing or running or lifting, all massive stress relievers and they all help to keep your head clear. Much better than spending your time playing against sweaties who spend their Mum’s money on FIFA points.
I only play FUT every year for FUTTIES and that's it, and even then my FIFA record has slumped every year. On FIFA 17 I had some Bundesliga IFs and a TOTS Fabian at striker and I'd win 60% of games, I could compete against legends and stuff, even though I played against them rarely. On FIFA 18 the game was shit and dead but then FUTTIES brought it back to life as there were cheap high rated cards that were mostly usable (I ztill won 45% of my gams at least) Nowadays even a card with 80 on every stat is rubbish, and packing good cards is no longer special, and just last year I lost NINE DIV 8 RIVALS GAMES IN A ROW with a good team, and even though I'm not brilliant at the game, I played well in some matches and still got battered by the likes of Son, Mbappe, Neymar etc. On FIFA 16, having 100,000 coins was massive, now I have 1.8 million coins and it feels like jackshit. The gampelay has also caused good cards to be worth nothing, which explains why a 96 rated TOTY Allison is worth like 150k and not like 1 million.

Players OVR stats and condition :
PES = Pretty much accurate and make sense with an actual players in term of current performance, stats and condition are in real life.. Legend/Top players are not too OP with beastly and insane stats that could grant you a 'W' with their top notch performances in every single match endlessly.. Still a human be like which has up and down situations and condition sometimes, so it'll less predictable tho..
FIFA = Icon/Special card players OVR stats are considered not human at all, they are way too OP until the regular top player like messi, cr7 etc look suck nothing more than a trash if comparing to them also players doesn't get any match suspended at all if they have been booked for committing a foul, so it won't effecting the team Ovr and chem at all.. IK it's just a basic rules in football but it can give very huge impact to the whole team tbh...

Nothing’s gonna happen I’m afraid, the people working for the company do the bare minimum to earn a pay check at the end of every week/month so they can support themselves and their families. This isn’t going to change because people dislike the game because it doesn’t mean anything to the workers, they couldn’t care less how the game goes, they just saw an opportunity at a huge company that, by the way, pays about 70 quid an hour that will help them and their families live their best lives. I always enjoyed the world cup modes because they were the most casual friendly mode. World Cup was literally play a game get a pack. It was fun to grind and get your favorite players in the tournament while just playing with friends or playing casually. You could build an ultimate team without burning a hole in your pocket.

I’ve played Fifa since Fifa 12 and I haven’t fully enjoyed it since Fifa 17. stats matter to much now I used to stay around div 7-8 with an average team that costs like 30K I’ve been in div 10 more or less all year with a much better team that cost me like 125+k

I think the introduction of SBCs and untradeable players completely fucked up the game even further, as it made the market a complete mess and once again was just forcing players to buy packs in order to actually complete the SBCs to then get a green Hazard with +2 shooting or a shite 35k pack in return...
Fifa is so unenjoyable now, ea make certain players more powerful than others to sell packs and get money, and making it so you have to have coins which is what ruins the game for people like me, I’m in div 10 and currently 1-5 in champs because my teams to bad and I’ve barely spent money on the game, compared to my friends who spend £100+ on fifa get sick players from the coins they gain and get elite every week. I wish fifa could just be how it used to be

I'm here 6 months later but I can honestly say the biggest problem is meta players. Rating is a good measurement of a players ability in real life but in fifa a 91 kdb for example is worse than Ben yedder because 1 is meta. It kills squad variation and the whole idea of ratings
The 30 games system doesn’t work it causes too much stress and sweat. What they should do is a mixture of rivals and champs. U get unlimited matches and u can play as many or few as u want. Then ur rank is decided based on ur win percentage. “But walrus, won’t people just win their first game and then stop for 100%?” I hear u ask. This is where the rivals points system comes in. The more matches u play the higher this score is, just like rivals, whether u win or lose ur points go up. This acts like goal difference in real life leagues.
Also objectives should be done in friendlies which increases the amount of people playing friendlies and offers a casual game mode which, although has less rewards, isn’t pointless because of objectives.

I remember back in FIFA 13, I had so much money but I refused to change my front 3 (Gervinho, Podolski, Ben Arfa). I could've gotten anyone I wanted but I played so well with these player and it was so FUN to play with them and I would obliterate opponents. True. Honestly my favorite thing from FUT was trading. After they implemented price ranges, it killed it for me. I also enjoyed making wacky teams and beating people with TOTS try hard teams. Can’t do that anymore, my skill can’t close the gap anymore. The game is extremely watered down in order to boost the lowest denominator.

You’re absolutely right. There was a big swing in being able to compete with a low value team after FIFA 15. Suddenly as someone who doesn’t buy packs I went from winning 9/10 to winning 1 or 2 /10.

Total respect for you guys coming out with vids like these, the mental health problems that this game causes is becoming a major problem aswell. That can be attributed to the cut throat competitive nature that has infected Fifa. I used to love Fifa and making videos about it, but they are few and far between now. They need a casual tournament mode with NO custom tactics, like old school football games just pick the players and formation and go at it, no 1 depth, no park the bus , no fullbacks on stay back while attacking!!! Just a mode you can have a few fun casual games on, thats all i want. But sadly it will never happen as greed outweighs ethics at EA, and unfortunately like most companies these days!

This is my first year playing fut and I'm stuck at division 10 since i started, not because im trash (i mean i am, but not div 10 trash)
But because every single game ea shits on me and every goal my opponent scores is bullshit. from passes that don't go the same way and from tackles that im timing very well but somehow it always goes back to them, to giving my opponent a pen after not only that i didn't touch him and didn't press tackle, i already cleared the ball to the second half of the pitch and then the ref decided to give a pen. Btw my team is Very good as well, but even if i had moments r9 and eusebio and maldini and every single icon moments in the game i would've somehow lose the game 0-1 from a goal in the 96th minute having only +2 extra time, and i will probably have like 46 shots and 40 on target and all the 6 that aren't on target are shots that hit the post/bar
Edit: managed to scrape a 3-3 draw from 3-1 to him. One goal he scored was a fucking bicycle kick in fifa 20, while when i crossed it to 6'2 moments trezeguet when he was a meter of the goal he of course put it wide. Second was a rebound, third was a wrong pass my keeper did.
Statistics: 55% possession against 45%, 16 shots 9 on target against 8 shots 5 on target. Oh and also i hit the post great game

Was elite 1 in Ultimate Team last year, played a little bit this year and decided to stop ultimate team. It feels like work because so many teams are stacked and you feel like you have to keep up. Now I just mainly play pro clubs with the boys, and honestly its just fun to play. No more grinding for packs, just to get a 82 overall or spending hours doing an SBC that everyone already has. Now it's juts chatting with your lads and playing pro clubs. Fifa is meant to be fun, just like the beautiful game. If you decide to leave Ultimate Team, could be worthwhile
In my early fifties and have been playing games since the early 80's. I still play this, god only knows why? It has helped create quite possibly the most toxic community within in gaming ever. You lose, you get abuse, you win, you get abuse. I don't put money in to it and I don't play every day.
I can remember when games were just that, games, you enjoyed them. FIFA 20 is an abomination. The greed of EA has been the simplest form of destruction for this franchise.
Too many areas of the game were and still are, broken, and unfortunately those who noticed what was broken and spoke up about it have always been labelled poor players by those who continue to accept substandard products, the toxic players, the ones who refuse to point to a broken game for wins or losses when the AI is clearly awol. It's a pity it's gotten to this in many ways but this does need to be highlighted.

Bang on mate. You read what I said in your stream last week when you were talking of the same subject (that stream was as good as this video too).
I get to play the game maybe a few hours during the week and a few hours late on weekend evenings. That's simply not enough time for EA to allow me to compete properly.
Past years I've been between Div 3 and 5 in Rivals, got to Div 2 and almost Div 1 before Rivals was around. This year, I've not got higher than Div 8. We all know why, the rewards down there are still pretty decent and the main thing - objectives.
I want to unlock some of the objective cards (especially TOTS ones). I had a week off a few weeks back, spent the whole week trying to get Jimenez and Perez, I got them in the end, but it took the whole week.
The whole concept of Rivals was to play against players of the same skill level which makes sense, I love a game of FIFA where you're both going right until the end with something to play for. Unfortunately, from division 7-10 you either win 6-0 or lose 6-0, it is dead. You either come up against a decent player who has deliberately relegated themselves to earn the objectives easily (then go on to brag about it) or someone who actually has a skill level of 50 and is therefore pretty damn bad at the game. Its boring either way.
Then you get FUT Champions, I've always been between Gold 2 and Silver 1, not great, I'd probably be better if it didnt take 40+ Rivals wins and around 3 months to qualify in the first place, right from the start I'm playing catch up. Then after all that, this weekend, I had 6 DC's (all counted as losses, even those from winning positions) and I didnt even get 11 wins to re-qualify, now I have to consider whether it's worth spending a month and a half trying to qualify again when the game will be 100% dead anyway. The answer is of course no. Ill stick to watching you and others go through the pain of the Weekend League for the remainder.

PES is leagues better than FIFA already. It's missing licenses but you can import them no problems. PES has much more depth than FIFA as Well.

Closing the gap? Only fifa’s licences are better. PES gameplay has been better than fifa for years. Graphics are better. Movement is waaaaay better. Players are unique. You can’t do the same with every player, like in fifa. Everything, expect licences and the design of the menus is better in pes.

I agree with pretty much everything u said. It’s all about putting time into the game in order to be good. My brother has not played FIFA since FIFA 18 when the gameplay became slow and more breaking people down. It’s all about 4-5-1 fut champs teams now with a Ligue one attack force linking and essien in the middle to a la liga defense.
Honestly back in fifa 15 or before the game was so fun, just messing around on the game, FUT champs killed the game, a great idea but the game got so serious and sweaty
I think using DDA in an ultra competitive game killed the game
And fifa 15 was one of the fifas I heard more complaints, mainly because of the keepers and how pace abusing the game was, but it was still fun to play
I hope ea realises how many players are not playing and make fifa 21 more enjoyable for us casual players because I can say for myself that I don’t not enjoy fifa anymore but I know I will still get fifa 21 because I’m a football fan but it just shows how it’s changed because in fifa 16 which imo was the last I enjoyed properly I played nearly 1000 games( while getting it at Christmas that year) and each year since I’ve just played less and less and this year I have only played 220 games and I got it 2 weeks after release

I started playing and grinding in december and started playing in november. I have played an hour Max average per day. I have a sick team and have not had more than 300k at once. IT is possible to Get a great team IT just takes patience

Nice video it really speaks on behalf of those who suffer playing this game. I love football and I love fifa. But past 3 years I’ve spent so much money on FUT (more than your average) that I feel a sense of entitlement to be good. It’s not how it works unfortunately due to clunky mechanics and shit servers and me basically not being good enough.

Everything you said was bang on. I think the thing with PES not being a competitor is the fact that it lacks licensing and UT. Without them it can't compete. The game play looks more like a real life game of football than FIFA (possibly a bad thing with how slow some games can be) and tbh the faces look more realistic. It just lacks FIFA's 2 main USPs
FM will never compete as it's too in depth for the normal person and you can't control 1 player. You tell the team how to play and you have to pay more attention to the game
EA: let's ruin our game, we still make a ton of money, we don't care a about the players anymore. Just the money.
What pisses me off is I can't even play with my favourite players as a casual. I'll never have enough coins to buy Zidane or Ronaldo etc. Throughout the whole life of the game, not just the first few months

Been posting on FIFA forums for some time regarding the state of the game, when there's any issues etc.
Whenever you post a message to a community manager of moderater they never respond, and I mean never. The only time they do respond is to either ban you because you've spoke about the game in a negative way or to close down threads.
One of the threads that actually got closed down was a mental thread, which if you ask me is pretty sickening. It was basically a civilized discussion between forum users on whether they believe FIFA can contribute towards mental health issue, addiction, gambling etc.
Safe to say it last about a day before it got shut down by moderaters and was the ky time I've seen them.
They also banned me 3 times (Twice for talking about DDA and a third time for discussing the way the moderators do things. I basically called them out saying they don't care and instead of responding they banned me.
If this doesn't tell you all you need to know about EA then I don't know what will. I'm done with FIFA, EA don't deserve our money and customers should not be treated like this. I feel lkke yourself and other content creators are our only voice so please keep this up, you are helping this community out so much!
