Replacing our rigid, blue trays with the newest generation of green folding trays - Euro Pool System

As of 1 February 2021, Euro Pool System started replacing millions of rigid, blue containers with the newest generation of green folding trays. Speaking today is Project Lead Hans De Bondt.
By switching from rigid trays to folding trays, the number of freight vehicle trips required to transport empty trays will be significantly reduced. The newly added unique barcode on the tray also allows the transport of fruits and vegetables to be traced. The trays are managed by logistics service provider Euro Pool System. The company initiated this large-scale transition with the aim of making the transport of fruits and vegetables more sustainable.
