How often do you apply it? Do you apply it on leaves too or just soil drench only?

Can I use store bought vermicompost? Not goibg to be as fresh as from a worm bin. Also, I found some leaf mould that's been under the snow for a few months with some of that white growth you mentioned... can I use that instead? If not, I have bags of wood chips that have been sitting for a year that will have some fingal growth.

Store bought vermicompost should work fine! And that lead mold should work great. Make sure you have some good water, and plenty of aeration 😁. If you want a super easy way to make your own worm compost check this video out th-cam.com/video/-fzUkvWbGhY/w-d-xo.html

I see you use rain water. Unless you have a metal roof, I hope you are not collecting it from the water that comes off of it. Asphalt shingles have copper in them that prevents algae from growing on the roof. It leaches out over time.

It's an asphalt roof, but that water would be running off into my yard/garden anyway even if I wasn't collecting it
