Great video, thanks! First air filter I've needed a pry bar to install. Yes 3/4 of the screw holes stripped out from someone trying to pull down the lid with it not seated properly. I don't lose sleep over it because the filter fits so snug anyway. I did put a zip tie on the corner with the screw closest to the radiator hose. Those air intake under the hood need to be vacuumed regularly.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, this is one of the most challenging air filter changes for a car that I've had too. I thought it would be good to make a video on it. Thanks again!
Kelley! Yes, changing this filter can be a challenge, but just pay attention to the small details that make the installation go well. Thanks for the comment and STAY WARM (if at all possible).
Changed mine after watching this video. Very helpful.
Steve: Good job. Glad I was able to give you something that helped. Thanks so much for the comment!

Was this a 2.0l ecoboost or 1.6l?
I own a 2014 ford escape eco booster will this filter fit that type of ford? I’m a widow and I have to learn to do it myself at 68
YES, that is the exact same car that I have, so you should be good to go. Best of luck and thanks for the comment!
