A little late watching this but this video was tremendous . I am very familiar with the Word of Faith movement/NAR etc. I used to be in a church where everyone would be told to speak in tongues out loud and it made me want to scream and pull my hair out it was pure chaos! And yes they try to teach you how to speak in tongues and it’s nothing but blabbering! My husband has family who attend Copeland’s church and that’s all they talk about - some “word” that someone gave them or they have a word for someone. Couldn’t care less what the Bible says. They place these people/prophets on pedestals and no one is to come against them. One family member is always using the word “manifesting” and “manifestation” which any new ager would tell you is one of their terms. There are not many churches left that haven’t been poisoned by this new age/cultism .
You are so right Rhiannon, they pay no attention to the Bible whatsoever and I think of the poor people who think this is the “norm” and that “they”must not have enough faith to receive these so called “gifts” and “words.” Makes me-sick to my stomach ..I can only imagine how our Savior feels. Been praying for you sis. We’ll be outta here soon. Come quickly Lord Jesus 🎺hugs🙏🕊️💕
